While it was previously reported that the police will need access to his call records, GD revealed that he has not handed over his mobile, but is ready to comply with any further instructions from the authorities. While Incheon police facing heavy criticism from G-Dragon’s fans for making false claims and targeting the rap icon, he spoke in their defense and said that everyone is just trying to do their job, though his personal work schedule has been affected as a result; still, he would rather proclaim his innocence than be unjustly accused.

Adding that he is unsure of the progress and details of police investigations, he advised fans not to worry, to continue putting their trust in him and to patiently wait for the test results.
