  1. He always give me the impression he is a rather small stature man. When he was sitting on sofas and all, he looks rather small. He is good looking no doubt, remember the whole surgery post? But is he like the most famous Chinese actor from China?

  2. I like Huang Xiao Ming. He’s also the ambassador for pandas and “father” to 2 of them. Think he would look better with slightly longer hair than the picture above.
Although The Bund with Chow Yun-Fat is no doubt a classic. HXM did quite well in Shanghai Bund, his eyes expressed everything. I think it’s my fav. role of his to date. Plus he was hot in there, such eye candy. 😛

I personally want to see Huang Xiao Ming and Vicki Zhao play a couple on-screen. I don’t think they paired together before, have they? And they’re acting classmates. ^_^

  3. Funn, Huang Xiao Ming does look short in some pics. His official stats say that he is 180 cm tall, but netizens have questioned whether this is true or not. Here is a humorous observation pointing out how he looked shorter than Daniel Wu in some pictures and then suddenly “grew” taller.

Jing, Huang Xiao Ming was rumored to have received plastic surgery:

Whether his height is questionable or whether a natural beauty, I think he is extremely handsome and possesses a magnetism that attracts many women.

  4. It’s kind of hard to tell if he had surgery or not. The pic posted to show a comparison of his before and after did not justify anything. His facial expression was different…..
I LOVE HXM,esp in Shanghai Tan!! SOOOOO HANDSOME

  5. Well I might be one exception since I’m not attracted to Huang Xiao Ming. Sure, he’s got a very handsome face but there’s just something about his “air” that I can’t fell for. I think I like more of Daniel Wu’s type.

I still can’t buy Huang Xiao Ming’s acting in comedy.

  6. My friend is like the biggest HXM fan and I will admit he is a competent actor. I won’t question his looks since generally China actors are not handsome. Hus height is 180CM? 5 feet 9 or 5 feet 10? Maybe he is just such a small size guy and thin but 5 feet 10 I don’t think so. 5 feet 7 maybe?

Daniel Wu is 6 feet 1? Really? I thought 6 feet less. Can’t be 6 feet 1! But funny how they have a picture of HXM on heels. Yes he is small and short but proportionate. He is so thin.

  7. Maybe the ladies are short or maybe he stood on boxes. Which was why I am rather surprised when I see him sitting on sofas for interviews, the sofa drowns him, like it does to Simon Cowell or Russell Crowe.
