Jackson Yee Tops Forbes China Celebrity 100 List of 2020

Today, the Forbes China Celebrity 100, which ranks the most influential Chinese, Hong Kong, and Taiwanese celebrities, released its list for 2020. Topping the list is 19-year-old singer-actor Jackson Yee (易烊千玺), one of the highest-paid celebrities in China.

In 2019, Jackson was ranked eighth on the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list. This year, he won Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Award for his performance in Better Days <少年的你>. Jackson is the first celebrity born after 2000 to debut on the list.

Following his lead is 48-year-old actor Xu Zheng (徐峥) as second, and actress Zhou Dongyu (周冬雨) as third. Fourth is Taiwanese pop king Jay Chou (周杰倫), followed by Lay Zhang (张艺兴), Yang Mi (杨幂), Zhao Liying (赵丽颖), Kris Wu (吴亦凡), Wang Yibo (王一博), and Jackson’s TFBOYS bandmate Karry Wang (王俊凯) as tenth.

As for Hong Kong celebrities, Angelababy (楊穎) is ranked 16th. William Chan (陳偉霆) is the highest male Hong Kong celebrity on the list, at 40th place. G.E.M. (鄧紫棋) fell off the list.

  1. no suprise that the chart is topped by a tfboy member but jackson wouldn’t be my first pick out of the group. i always thought the boy in the middle would be the most popular given his looks.
