Jessica Hsuan Will Film “Back to the Past” Movie in March

Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) attended an event to promote a biking competition today. She disclosed that she has trouble balancing so does not bike often. Her favorite sport is actually the trampoline. She loved it so much that she took lessons as a child.

Recently she shared a picture on Instagram of a dinner party with fellow cast mates Louis Koo (古天樂) and Raymond Lam (林峯) from the popular drama A Step into the Past <尋秦記>. Many fans have been eagerly awaiting the film version, titled Back to the Past. Jessica shared, “The decision to film had been finalized a long time ago! We’ve been in the planning process; all the actors have been bouncing ideas back and forth on the script. The movie should start filming at the end of March. Boss Koo (Louis Koo) said I’m not allowed to disclose any more details!”

She also took part in a dinner gathering for old TVB sitcom, Happy Harmony <餐餐有宋家>. It has been 20 years since the airing of the sitcom and it was a time full of precious memories for her. Lulu Kai’s (蓋世寶) departure from TVB after 23 years of service was the main topic of the dinner; Jessica expressed her sadness at the situation. “Because I’m also a woman, I understand how other female artistes feel. Unfortunately, our career longevity has its limits. I know that I don’t need to be worried about her, but if either of us comes across suitable opportunities, we will support each other.” Jessica stated that she is no longer contracted with TVB but is still in contact with upper management and looks forward to future collaborations.
