Joel Chan’s Son Looks Exactly Like Him
2020 was a challenging year for many, but for Joel Chan (陳山聰), that extra challenge came from being a first-time father. On July 1, the TVB actor safely welcomed his first child, son Jaco Chan (陳霆軒), with wife Apple.
Now six months old, Jaco is at his transitional stage of being more mobile to actively learn about his environment. Giggly and playful, Jaco laughs at the sight of new friends. Joel’s close friend and Barrack O’Karma <金宵大廈> partner Selena Lee (李施嬅) recently visited the father and son duo and shared their union on Instagram, writing, “Ah Siu (Joel’s character name in Barrack) has reincarnated!”
Joel responded, “Nope, Ah Siu’s reincarnation is actually Joey!” Joey is the character of Joel’s name in the highly anticipated Barrack O’Karma 2, its direct sequel.
Barrack O’Karma was one of 2019’s most popular television dramas, with Selena winning Most Popular Female Character and being a top contender for Best Actress. Joel was also nominated for Best Actor for the first time.
