Kenneth Ma Emphasizes He and Kevin Cheng Are Not Feuding

Attending a celebratory dinner to mark the completion of Flight Diary <飛常日誌>, Kenneth Ma (馬國明) shared this was his last function before flying out for his destination wedding. However, he remained tight lipped and declined to confirm whether the wedding would be held in Bali.

When Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) outwardly stated he would be unable to attend Kenneth’s wedding and hinted their social gatherings were “a waste of time,” speculations arose whether the pair had a fallout. The gossip intensified when Kevin’s wife Grace Chan (陳凱琳) vacationed in South Africa and shared photos online. Netizens criticized her for adding oil to the fire.

Kenneth stated he has not seen Grace’s photos yet and asked, “Was Grace there for work? She usually films a lot of videos. If she was there for work, then that’s very normal.” Emphasizing he did not have a fallout with Kevin, Kenneth said, “Please don’t blow the situation out of proportion. It’s a very small issue and we don’t need to continue talking about it.” Kenneth also added he will have dinner with Kevin after the wedding.

At the same time, Kevin’s cousin Vinci Wong (王賢誌) posted an Instagram story exposing someone for being “two-faced.” Although Vinci did not name any names, it was speculated he referred to Kevin. Vinci wrote, “You can see people’s true intentions over time. I’ve seen their different sides on and off camera, so I’ve already given up on any form of communication with this person. If you ask me about them, sorry they aren’t my anybody. Not even a friend, so please don’t ask me about them.”

Kenneth expressed he has not seen Vinci’s post yet and does not know who he was referring to. Kenneth said, “Everyone is just speculating. As I said before, people who are not familiar with Kevin will feel he is arrogant, so I won’t comment on behalf of others.”

Reverting back to his wedding, Kenneth admitted his friends from A Fistful of Stances <鐵馬尋橋> will be attending his wedding. “Initially, Jazz Lam (林子善) said would not be able to attend due to his children. The problem has been resolved now and he can attend.”

Also at the Flight Diary dinner was Samantha Ko (高海寧), who is looking forward to Kenneth and Roxanne Tong’s (湯洛雯) wedding as one of the bridesmaids. As Samatha was photographed recently with a mysterious man, she was speculated to be in a new relationship. Although she denied dating the man, Samantha is excited at the prospect of catching the bouquet. “I always ask Roxanne to introduce people to me. I do have romantic pursuers, but I’m waiting for someone I like which is why I’ve been single for so long. I heard if you catch the bouquet, you need to get married within half a year so it’s better to give it to others who are already preparing for marriage.”

As Samatha’s hairstyle and styling in The Queen of News <新聞女王> has been receiving a lot of attention lately, many fans have been imitating the look. They would even emulate her expressions and actions. Samantha said, “Of course I’m so happy seeing so many people pretend to be my character. There are also people who have drawn me in different clothing and poses. There’s even one of my different crying expressions. I’ll post them all on social media later!”

Another bridesmaid is Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), who partnered with Kenneth in Flight Diary. At the celebratory dinner, Sisley and the cast donated raffle prizes for the crew. Sisley shared she recently travelled to Guangzhou to learn from Liu Tingting (劉婷婷), the current team captain of the Chinese women’s national artistic gymnastics team. “I did the first front somersault and balance beam act in my life. She has been training since three and I just started at 30. Tingting said I have a natural talent for gymnastics which makes me want to continue. I hope I’m able to better prepare myself for action scenes.”
