Lee Jong-won & Kim Sejeong to Lead “In the Name of Alcohol”

A new romcom by viral drama Business Proposal director Park Seon-ho, In the Name of Alcohol will unfold the story of how a liquor company salesperson who is trying to save a company in crisis, falls in love with a local beer brewer!

Actress Kim Sejeong of Today’s Webtoon fame will likely play the female lead while actor Lee Jong-won will take on the male lead, as confirmed by his agency The Black Label.

Impressive Performances

Making his debut in 2018 web drama Back to the Future, Lee Jong-won accumulated acting chops with The School Nurse Files and Hospital Playlist 2, scooping up the Best New Actor award at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards with his performance in The Golden Spoon. His recent performance in MBC drama Knight Flower as military officer Park Soo-ho, which ended its run in end February, also left a strong impression on viewers.

Kim Sejeong has also delivered brilliant recent performances such as in superhero drama The Uncanny Counter where her chemistry with co-star Jo Byung Gyu sizzled, while shining in the acclaimed Business Proposal.
