Lynn Hung Flees to Korea to Treat Heartbreak
Lynn Hung (熊黛林) recently appeared at a lingerie promotional event, where reporters barraged her with queries regarding her rumored breakup with long-term boyfriend Aaron Kwok (郭富城). Although she faced the questions with a smile, Lynn confirmed that she was now single and said that she did not want to discuss the past anymore.
According to Hong Kong news reports, Lynn uploaded a photo of herself wearing a pinky ring, which signifies a breakup, on the evening of April 16. Rumors then arose that her seven-year relationship with Aaron had turned sour due to his unwillingness to get married, as well as his rumored fling with actress Christine Kuo (苟芸慧).
At her promotional event, Lynn shared, “Some things have already passed by. Now is a new beginning.” When a reporter asked if she was single, she replied, “Yes! I don’t want to talk about the past anymore. Now is a new beginning. I am very happy.” Lynn also claimed that there is “nothing unfortunate” about the situation, and that she hopes to be even happier in the future. However, her rigid smile belied her supposed newfound happiness.
Lynn’s composure finally shook when she was asked if she could let go of her seven-year relationship with Aaron. With reddened eyes, she responded, “You must move forward. In the end, you have to let go of what you feel is unsuitable.” Although she said she does not know if the two can reconcile their relationship, Lynn insisted that she and Aaron will remain friends.
At a separate event, Christine Kuo reportedly broke into tears and denied being the third party that had come between the couple. When asked to comment on this, Lynn reiterated that she did not know Christine and would not respond to issues concerning her. Nevertheless, Lynn also included this biting remark: “I don’t know who should be the one crying.”
Today, Lynn was spotted at the airport, dressed in a black jacket, T-shirt, and jeans, and wearing no make-up. Looking lonesome and haggard, she deliberately turned away from reporters who tried to catch her face on camera, and she refused to heed any of their questions. People at the scene reported that she was still wearing her “breakup ring.” According to rumors, she is flying to Seoul, Korea in order to treat her heartbreak.

Fleeing to Korea to escape would not do her any good. Unless she speaks Korean or knows good friends there to take her around, there is not really much happening in Korea besides temples, shrines, some eating and shopping (HK is much better) and some nightlife (HK is much better again). I lived there, I should know.

not boring but there are not a lot of people who speak english. Also Korean people are not as friendly as other countries to foreigners. Perhaps just their cultures.
That’s not what I heard, my sister in law is a Hong Konger and enjoyed South Korea a lot. She does not speak Korean at all. She once went to HK(which she goes to all the time),China and South Korea and liked South Korea the most. Even my 10 year old nephew liked South Korea the most out of all 3 countries and said that people there were really nice even though they did not speak Korean at all.

If Aaron has indeed said that then that’s a funny remark and one which demonstrates his hypocrisy as I’m pretty sure he himself has gone under the knife a few times.

Yes, seems like Christine is the target. I read that Christine is a Christian and her parents questioned “even the acting roles” that Christine has taken on. Christians answer to a higher authority (although there may be exceptions). So, I give Christine the benefit of the doubt. Because of her squeaky clean image, it seems like TVB likes to give her acting roles which make her portray the complete opposite. Her acting roles in turn cause Christine to be labeled with names (like vamp) in real life. Seems like she is very misunderstood and gets depressed (and cries over it). Aaron may flirt (or whatever) but Christine seems innocent.

True, but pageant winners (like Christine) risk losing their endorsements/pageant titles if they don’t keep a squeaky clean image, which is “valuable” for getting endorsements to sell products. So, Christine doesn’t need Aaron for money.

How do you know that her innocent image isn’t acting? Most actresses who are newbies in the industry will go for the Jade Girl route, as it’s the easiest way to popularity. Only when their acting skill improves and they have experience and maturity can they carry of the strong women roles. Christine doesn’t have the ability nor strength to be convincing in strong women roles, so she is given the vamp roles and goodie two shoes roles – both are just images and not how she is in real life. She could be very smart and sly for all you know!
Well, if her “innocent image” is acting, then she’s got everyone (like pageant officials, TVB, companies that endorse her, the Christian community, etc.) fooled, in which case, her acting is quite good.
