Raymond Lam Throws Princess Party for Karena Ng’s 21st Birthday
Turning 21 years old on October 27, Karena Ng (吳千語) was delighted by boyfriend Raymond Lam‘s (林峯) surprise birthday party. Raymond enjoys indulging Karena like a princess and often lavishes her with generous gifts. The celebration had a fitting princess theme, with the cake featuring Cinderella’s castle and dining area decorated with pink “glass” slippers.
Planning the celebration for three months, Raymond booked a private party at Hong Kong’s exclusive The Krug Room. Accommodating only twelve guests at a time, the French restaurant offers a custom-tailored menu in which the chef’s food preparation can be observed through a window in the dining area. The restaurant caters to the most elite clients, with culinary services starting at $120,000 HKD.
Due to the restaurant’s small capacity, Raymond only invited Karena’s closest friends to the intimate dinner. Adding to the memorable atmosphere, the food was meticulously prepared and entrees were served inside jewelry boxes. Edible desserts in the form of gift boxes and chocolate sweets also graced the table. Karena’s likeness was also featured on the castle-themed cake, which towered three feet tall and had a spouting fountain at the bottom.
Smiling widely at the fairy-tale princess details of her birthday party, Karena enjoyed being indulged for the night.

Don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a princess-themed birthday cake for a 21-year-old, as couples do get married in Disneyland and have a fairy-tale wedding.
However, the cake design is more suitable for a young girl due to the castle theme. Something more sophisticated, while relating to the princess theme, such as the below cake would have been more suitable for a grown woman:

At 21 years old, you’re an legal adult so having a princess – themed cake is not suitable for some one her age. Get one that’s appropriate for her age.
I also do not see anything wrong with it. But yes,the cake is a bit childish. However,the princess them is not a bad idea but could have had a more mature style to it as Jayne mentioned.

Well, Taylor Swift was born in 1989 which means she is 25 this year but she is still using fairy tale and princess theme for her music and life. In Hongkong, a 35 year-old actress is still calling herself Princess of Saturn. They are definitely living out of their ages than just a princess and fairy tale birthday party.
Some of people here can see the ages of the friends just through few pictures, such a wonderful supernatural ability. Unfortunately, check our their IGs to see that some of the guests were born in early 80s and one was in 1976. Look like the supernatural ability isnt working properly.
Additionally, the party also adapted some Halloween concept. Lolz, so whoever are celebrating and disguising Halloween are childish, old fashioned and 8 years old.
Anyway, it was a sweet birthday party and happy birthday to Karena. She is happy, and it is the best answer for anyone who are trying to put her down. Enjoy the happiness.

I don’t know what is the fuss about RL throwing a princess party for his gf. It is a lovely thought and I thought it was sweet, tho it might not be everyone cup of tea. I remember in Season of Love (??), Kate’s character on the reality show wanted a fairy tales wedding with horse carriages. Everyone have their own dream birthday/wedding. As outsider, I think it is shallow to criticize people happiness.
As for spoiling gf, I see that very often on an average joe. I see guy pampering their gf with brand name stuff – LV, Gucci, Burberry, etc – and delivery food. I think those action are on the same par with RL if you average out the salaries.
