Supercouple Moses Chan (陳豪) and Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) made an unexpected appearance at the airport with the TVB crew on Thursday night, when various TVB artists were on their way to Singapore for Saturday’s StarHub TVB Awards.
Due to Typhoon Haima, a T8 cyclone that made landfall in Hong Kong on Friday, many TVB artists had to cancel or postpone their Thursday schedules to board an earlier flight to Singapore. Artists such as Wayne Lai (黎耀祥), Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Vincent Wong (王浩信), Selena Li (李施嬅), and Mandy Wong (黃智雯) expressed their mixed feelings about the unfortunate schedule change. While they were happy about getting an extra day off, they would have to pick up lost time when they get back to Hong Kong next week.
Vincent said the typhoon had affected his filming schedule for the comedy drama My Unfair Lady <不懂撒嬌的女人>, which is nearing completion. He is also worried about leaving his family alone in Hong Kong, saying, “I have a house full of women! This is a serious storm, so I am worried!”
Ruco said that the typhoon had actually allowed him time to relax. “I was shooting The Alliance <同盟>, but because we have to get to Singapore a day earlier, I now have an extra day to relax.”
Unbeknownst to all, Moses and Aimee made a surprising appearance at the airport on Thursday night. The reporters assumed at first that the couple were also going to Saturday’s awards ceremony, but it turned out that Moses and Aimee were actually going on a vacation.
The couple kept their cool as the press crowded around them. Though they did not respond to questions, they kept their smiles bright.
