Eliza Sam Stars as Liza Wang’s Daughter in “Elegant Transformation”
Lucky to be working alongside veteran artistes Liza Wang (汪明荃) and Damian Lau (劉松仁) in new TVB series, Elegant Transformation <華麗轉身>, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) has been gathering new acting tips and enjoying the process. She will share many scenes with Liza, since she portrays her daughter. Despite starting work for a week, Eliza is happy her schedule is not too tight and there is still time for leisure activities.
With free time, Eliza likes to exercise and cook meals for herself. These days, she made different types of soup to condition her body after finally completing new movie, Hot Madam <辣警霸王花>, in which she took part in tedious workouts to prepare for her many action sequences. Although she learned bits of martial arts in the past, it was difficult to brush up those skills. Compared to the movie, Elegant Transformation offers a much more relaxing atmosphere.
While others concluded Eliza lost weight from her workouts, she expressed she weighs the same. “I think I gained a little muscle, but lost some fat.” Nonetheless, Eliza hopes to maintain her current fit physique and stay in healthy shape.
During filming breaks, the cast of Elegant Transformation would head to the TVB canteen and dine together. Eliza already had a good filming experience with Liza when they worked on 2012’s Divas in Distress <巴不得媽媽>. Paired up again in Elegant Transformation allowed her to know Liza even better. Eliza shared that Liza is extremely generous to her costars, “She is very nice! She gave us some products that she endorsed in, and even brought homemade soup. We were very happy!” After improving her cooking skills, Eliza decided she would also make something for Liza in return.

She is cute, but needs a lot of work on her acting
It’s hard to dislike her, because she looks so friendly and cute (and probably is irl, according to all articles).
But her acting really needs a loooooot of improvement. It gets better slowly, but to say that she’s a real talent; eh… no.
She kinda reminds me of a younger version of Bernice Liu. A little cute baby fat face and a fit body – not like your typical sticks and bones skinny. Hopefully more acting opportunities help her acting!
eliza is really nice in-person too. she is down-to-earth and everything, but i gotta admit her acting is a little lacking. And did she remark that liza is generous? i heard before that she’s a miser though. after winning big cash awards at the tvb anniversary she just kept it to herself, whereas wayne lai treated the whole cast/crew to dinner with the prize money!
I’ve also been a fan of her. Pretty girl but not the best actress — still a rookie.

She looked so different in the other pic that i wouldn’t have known it was her if you didn’t mention it. Well, those who proclaim her as a natural beauty what-not have apparently been hoodwinked.
