Selena Li Nearly Lost Life While Diving in Indonesia
Selena Li (李詩韻) and Kenneth Ma (馬國明) promoted new TVB wuxia series, Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain <寒山潛龍>, which will air on June 30. As the event took place near a hotel swimming pool, the cast played with water guns and later pushed Selena into the water. The action turned out to be scary for her, since it brought back alarming memories of a dangerous diving incident in Indonesia where she almost lost her life.
When Selena once went diving in Indonesia at Komodo Island, she was trapped in a strong torrent and faced great danger. She recalled the frightening time, “I almost lost my life! My facemask was swept off by the waves. I clutched onto a rock, but I ended up crashing into it instead, because the water kept pushing me. My arms and legs were all bruised. Luckily in the end, I was swept up safely near the rock.”
In Ghost Dragon of Cold Mountain, Selena portrays two characters for the first time. She expressed it was a great chance to develop her acting skills and will not be overly concerned with the series’ viewership ratings.
Kenneth Ma Feels TVB Has No Need to Terminate Coffee’s Contract
Having just completed The Misadventure of Zoo <流氓皇帝>, Kenneth is now preparing for his upcoming role in Lord of Shanghai <梟雄>, in which he portrays the younger version of Anthony Wong’s (黃秋生) character. Although the two do not share any scenes together, Kenneth intends to visit Anthony on set to learn from him. “There is pressure involved. I need to watch Anthony’s portrayal in order to make it consistent.”
TVB actress Coffee Lam (林芊妤) is known for her role as one of Kenneth’s girlfriends in Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II>. Speaking of how the actress’s TVB management contract will likely be terminated due to her 30-minute public restroom scandal with rich heir Will Lam (林知譽), Kenneth remarked, “She never invited me for a gathering. I’m such a failure!” Joking aside, Kenneth added, “I’m not too clear about the incident, but it’s not necessary to terminate her contract. Maybe there will be a change, so let’s just wait for TVB’s decision.”

Kenneth Ma is smart in saying to let Coffee Lam’s incident plays its course. If I was a TVB executive, I would let Coffee Lam play the supporting role as a bimbo in a series to boost TVB’s rating. TVB needs all the help they can get.
True cause TVB ratings has been very low the past few years.

I don’t know who she is, but sometimes these sweeping accounts artistes make can come across as pretty high drama.

Nomad 822, usually scuba divers will be accompanied by a divemaster who is very experienced with the dive sites. Selena is describing her experience in Komodo, a beautiful underwater place to see mola mola (sunfish), and manta ray. However, the place is also very famous with strong currents, which send even experienced divers flying around.

well…………..i think is very scary to me and i do pay attention when i have english classes but my other friend doesn’t she told me that all of the pages in her english book is all empty because she didn’t bothered to write all the information that the teacher writes on the broad!!!!!

I actually really like Selena’s role in here – she’s soooo cute as a hillbilly wife. This might be the first role of hers to date that I really like her acting (I usually find her really pretentious.) Great job for her so far!
