Grace Wong Holds Wedding Banquet in Hong Kong

After Grace Wong (王君馨) and her husband Daniel Zhang held their wedding in New York last month, the couple once again celebrated their marriage union with a wedding banquet in Hong Kong today. With over 300 guests present, it is estimated that the banquet cost a six-figure sum.

Grace’s bridesmaids included Eliza Sam (岑麗香), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), Hiromi Wada (裕美), Leanne Li (李亞男), Janice Vidal (衛蘭). Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) was the Maid of Honor.

Grace: “He Gave Up Everything!”

The couple started dating 11 years ago in New York and maintained a long-distance relationship after Grace pursued her acting career in Hong Kong. After their marriage, Daniel moved to Hong Kong in order to accommodate Grace’s career. Grace said, “He already found a job – he gave up everything for me! July 11th is our 12-year anniversary, that’s why I picked today [to hold the banquet]. It’s a very commemorative date!”

Grace said, “I can’t believe I’m so moved by my own wedding. I started crying at the reception. I serenaded my husband with a song – he didn’t expect it at all. He even asked me why I had a microphone.” Asked whether Daniel has a surprise, Grace replied, “He said he has a surprise for me later tonight!”

Although Daniel is normally very quiet, he spoke a lot today in hopes of thanking everyone who helped Grace grow in the past decade.

Grace said, “I’m very touched to be able to see my husband every day. We were [separated long distance] previously and had to see each other through a monitor. I’m blessed that I could see him in person now.”

The couple wants to enjoy their time together now and plan to have children two to three years later.
