Grace Wong Welcomes Baby Girl, Audrey Chang

Tying the knot with her long-time boyfriend Daniel Chang in 2016, Grace Wong (王君馨) welcomed the arrival of their baby daughter, Audrey Chang. Sharing a family photo on social media, Grace wrote, “Our beloved daughter is born.”

The happy new mother reflected on her labor and delivery, “The whole experience was amazing. I always thought I was the career-driven type and believed I would definitely opt for a C-section, pick an auspicious date, and formula feed. But over the past nine months, the bond I developed with her felt like the baby was telling me, ‘Mom, you can do it.’ She gave me courage, made me do more research and give her the best within my ability. Thank you, Dr. Grace Wong, for giving me confidence (yes, she really has the same English name as me) and for helping me change my decision during the last four months. In the end, I was able to give birth to our precious daughter naturally.”

As Audrey was coincidentally born on Daniel’s birthday, Grace joked Audrey is already a daddy’s girl. The 39-year-old mother added, “She’s special. She insisted on being born after midnight, so her birthday would be the same as daddy’s. She gave daddy a kiss too! Who knows, maybe she really will be a daddy’s girl.” Grace also made sure to thank the medical staff and cleaning ladies for their care and support in her post.

Grace concluded her post, “Starting a new chapter with our little bundle of joy! May our Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit continue to guide and teach us how to be good parents to Audrey. We love you so much and can’t wait to watch you grow up.”
