Ron Ng (吳卓羲) and mainland actress, Viann Zhang’s (張馨予)rumors have been red-hot. When Viann was scolded by Ron’s fans on Weibo, he came forward to support her, thus revealing their romance. Arriving in Hong Kong due to work commitments, Viann attempted to visit Ron’s house in the Ho Man Tin district for two nights in a row.
After work the night before, Viann returned to a hotel in Kowloon Tong for a brief rest. Afterwards, Viann left the hotel in the early AM hours and attempted to head towards Ron’s house. Viann wore a matching black-and-white cap which Ron was spotting wearing at work. When she saw a large number of reporters present, Viann appeared surprised at first, but remained cooperative in allowing photographs prior to closing the taxi door.
Viann’s taxi took her directly to Ron’s neighborhood in the Ho Man Tin district. Throughout the ride, Viann was spotted talking continuously on the phone. When the taxi drove by Ron’s house, Viann did not get off and headed towards the Shan Ho Man Tin Estate instead. A female friend awaited Viann’s arrival. Viann indicated to reporters that she was there to see her friend. The pair entered the residence grounds and Viann remained there at 4 AM. The Shan Ho Man Tin Estate complex was five minutes by car from Ron’s house.
In an attempt to see her boyfriend, Ron, Viann ventured into his neighborhood for two consecutive nights. At 8 PM last night, Viann took a taxi from her hotel, heading towards the Ho Man Tin area. She attempted to transfer into a 7-passenger car to head to Ron’s house. However, the plan was discovered by the paparazzi. As a result, Viann fled into one of the nearby housing buildings. A tabloid reporter clashed with the security guard and the Police was alerted.
Ron Ng Did Not Regret Supporting Viann Zhang
Yesterday, Ron was filming his new series in Sha Tin. He wore a matching black-and-white cap similar to what Viann had worn last night. When the reporter mentioned that Viann stated that Ron was a responsible man, Ron replied, “Yes, this is what I should do. From the chronology of events sehseh told me, it’s Ron’s fans who started it first. Right after the news of Ron picking her up from the airport came out, some of Ron’s fans have been taunting her and harassing her on her weibo and even tweeted her pictures of Ron and Kate together. That’s what caused her to diss Kate and retaliate to fans.
If this was true, Viann was not the only one at fault. Viann responded immaturely, but, those Ron’s fans who harassed her weren’t any better.

I find it refreshing that Ron is finally admitting that Viann is his girlfriend. Maybe it will take only time before his fans start accepting her and saying that Viann and Ron make a hot looking couple.
Around December 2010, there were rumors that Viann was dating a wealthy man in China and thus lived in an expensive apartment likely beyond her income level. Allegedly the man blocked Ron’s ability to film mainland dramas when he realized Ron and Viann were dating. Since Ron and Viann are so high profile lately, apparently Viann chose love over money, provided that she was indeed dating a richer man before.

I bet Viann really wanted to move into Ron’s house with her recent trip to Hong Kong. She stayed at his house in her last trip to HK. I of course know that BUT even if I were Viann, I don’t think I would react the way that she did regardless of how mad I was. First of all, she and Ron are both celebs and are constantly followed by the public so she needs to keep track of her behavior, even when she is online. It is true that I am not her, but I can easily imagine being in her shoes… If I were just any normal citizen, then I agree that I would get upset if others were criticizing me for no good reason. However, as a celeb, you need to learn to keep your cool or else…

I think we measure beauty based on preset ideals of physical traits that we value personally. Someone may value nice skin more than perfect face shape. That’s why beauty is subjective.
Plastic or no plastic, I think as long as someone fulfills or exceeds our own personal criteria of attractive traits, then we will consider that person good looking.
Despite Viann’s plastic appearance, I still find her pretty, but a more “made-up” and “packaged” beauty than a natural beauty such as Miss Hong Kong, Rebecca Zhu.
I would consider her a beauty if she looks beautiful irregardless of plastic surgery.
I still think Angelababy is beautiful despite knowing her plastic surgery past.
Btw, I think Angelababy’s plastic surgery is done very well. She doesn’t look ‘made-up’. Her beauty looks natural.

I think is the way how Viann handles matter that made people think she’s an airhead, jealous and manipulated. If she is a reserved person like Kelly Chen or like Takeshi Kaneshiro who hardly have any news about them, I doubt people would make a big deal about Viann. Too bad, Viann’s childish behaviour made her look bad plus she had plastic surgery before even made people to think she has no talent but just plastic body to get famous.

I see an interesting phenomena. In the weibo, in the comment section of a tweet about Ron/Viann news, some commentators say Mavis is better than Viann since Mavis kept a really low profile while dating Raymond. Only after she got dumped, she revealed the pictures.

I also think that Viann is getting a lot of criticism due to her behavior, not just due to her plastic surgery. I have heard that people bash AngelaBaby too, but not quite in the same way as Viann though. Mavis actually seemed more low profile while dating Raymond and did not flaunt it like how Viann is.
I also wonder what is so great about the “doll” look. I watch some Korean series,Dong Yi, where every women had the same old doll look that I wondered if they all went to the same plastic surgeon. I admit that it is a cute and pretty look, but it gets really boring and dull if everyone looked the same way. It also doesn’t look natural for a number of people.
Since we are on the topic of Botox, thought that it would be nice to share that I once read an article about an interview with a famous plastic surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon.
They said that one of the signs of using Botox was that the skin would be unusually smooth but if you looked closely, you will find tiny needle marks around it. Just look at Nicole Kidman, in January this year, she admitted to be using Botox on her “unnaturally smooth” forehead which was why it affected her acting in the past movies since her forehead was too frozen to move to convey the emotions required by the script.
They also revealed that many of their celebrities clients swank in into their clinics through a secret passage and they have seen some of these celebrities coming in just days before a beauty cosmetic/products event or beauty salon endorsement so yes, that effect may be achieved through botox and not through the products/salons that they endorsed.
That plastic surgeon also mentioned that plastic surgery was a costly process as after the operation, you still have to come back regularly to inject some fillers into your face or whatever not to maintain it lest it collapses.
I believe Viann probably got a chin and a nose job and probably did some liposuction to make her face look slimmer. Her sharp face is probably not natural as it is too razor-sharp and perfect and there isn’t any ounce of fat in her face at all, way too flat a face. Chances are if it is too perfect to be true, it probably is. Pardon me but she does look like one of those inflatable *ahem* dolls but a life-sized one, can’t blame Ron for going crazy over her.
Talking about Botox, Gillian is a great example of the magic of botox. She uses botox for her legs, arms, and even on her face to get the slim V shape look. Gillian is usually much thinner whenever she is in Hong Kong because she gets botox injections, but once she is off filming in China then she blows up like crazy because she does not get the required injections. The magic of botox does works it wonders though because Gillian can regain her slimmer arms and legs after staying in Hong Kong for 1 week. It seems unhealthy since Gillian looks 10x older now compared to when she first made her comeback in 2009. It is easy to tell when Gillian gets her injection because she usually need severals injections so it does leave a bruise. So far, I have seen two events where her arms have visible bruises from the botox injections.
Viann surprisely is very pretty. Although her looks isn’t as natural as Angelababy but she does look more natural than Mavis. Back in the ’80, the female artists are much more beautiful and they were natural. It is scary to see that many female artists now are plastic. The ’80 were the naturals, the ’00 were the botoxs, and now the ’10 are the plastic. I wonder what the next decade will bring?

Gillian has to get botox injection because she’s the spokeperson for a botox brand. It’s due to her downfall caused by the sex scandal. In order to come back to the entertainment industry, she has to agree to do anything. Besides promoting botox, she also has to be a spokeperson for a brand of beer. I saw her beer advertisement in a coffee shop. I felt sorry for her at that time. Celebrities don’t take advertise for beer in such a way. Only random non famous girl.

Thanks for the info about botox! I still find it pathetic that many celebs are denying the use of botox when it is so obvious. I feel that botox is like a form of temporary plastic surgery. IT gives you good looks for a short period of time, but you have to keep on using it to maintain it. These celebs really don’t mind suffering through pain for beauty…I would be a big chicken since I am really scared of pain…

I think botox may make you look good/young for the time being but older as you get more of the injections down the road. No wonder Gillian looks so much older than she is supposed to. In fact, I think she is okay to let press photograph her with Ron. It may be Ron who is the more cautious one, since his fans are not happy with situation.

I don’t really like Viann because because she seems possessive and manipulative. I’m not a super big Ron fan so I’m not just saying this because I don’t want my idols dating (I think that’s silly since I would assume people want their idols to be happy), but she just seems really immature. I wonder why girls hate other girls who do plastic surgery? While I don’t believe in plastic surgery myself, I can understand the inclination to want to do it. Girls look in the mirror and see all these flaws… some girls can learn to love themselves the way they are and some can’t… but that doesn’t say anything about who they are as a person.

I think Viann’s reasons for having plastic surgery and botox jab are to boost her career in model and entertaiment line which there are many competitors who use the same method to beautifying themselves just to get the contract signed.

Off topic, remember when the media speculated there was something going on between Kate and Ron, and they pointed out that they wear the same wrist band, I had a closer look in Episode 11 LOO when Kate was hugging Bosco…. it’s just a simple red string. It looks like the one that Madonna wears for her Kabbalah religion. So if Ron and Kate ain’t together, perhaps they’re both same religion? But then Kabbalah is so uncommon/non-existent in Asia… Does anyone know if they came out with an explanation as to why they wear the same red bracelet?
