Tiffany Tang and Luo Jin Are Separated?

With intensifying on-off separation rumors that they had been separated for a year and a half, 41-year-old Tiffany Tang (唐嫣) and 43-year-old Luo Jin (羅晉) once again became the topic of public fodder, going up Weibo hot search rankings.

Shocking News of Elderly Mr Luo’s Demise

According to reports, Luo Jin’s manager had shared a text obituary of the actor’s father on WeChat moments, stating that the latter passed away on November 19 at the age of 70, with details of the memorial ceremony to be held on November 23 and requested attendees to be dressed in black or dark colors. Netizens` even did up a timeline of their whereabouts, which indicated that Tiffany had been based in Shanghai, even as news of Luo Jin’s father passing in Beijing made the rounds – appearing to validate divorce rumors. 

However, some also defended the actress, saying she could well be in Beijing with her husband, her IP address likely reflecting her assistant who was managing postings on her behalf.

Insiders also clarified that Luo Jin was based in Beijing where he had cared for his father this entire year. It also made sense that Tiffany, whose parents were both in Shanghai, dwelled in the city after the success of costume drama Blossoms Shanghai <繁花> which elevated her career to new heights, while being responsible for the care of their child, thus explaining the two’s unique long-distance marriage arrangements.

The late Mr Luo Shun Xi had reportedly been a doctor in a county in the eastern province of Jiangxi. Having been a mischievous child, Luo Jin’s sense of discipline and upbringing was fundamentally shaped by his father, who sent the eleven-year-old to his work site for experiential learning, and later enroled him at an Wushu academy in Hunan.
