Kelly Chen Still in Optimal Form at 53

Cantopop diva Kelly Chen (陳慧琳) has officially released her new electronic dance single, “3 Secs Life” (三秒一生). The 52-year-old singer recently made a surprise appearance at a live event, where she performed three songs back-to-back — and her impressive form quickly became a hot topic online.

Performs Three Songs Live

The moment Kelly took the stage, she immediately commanded attention with her signature “electropop queen” presence, delivering live performances of “None of Your Business” (唔關你事), “Replacement” (替換) and the classic upbeat hit “This Bunch of People” (這班人). The entire crowd was swept up by the rhythm and Kelly’s infectious stage charisma.

Photos and videos from the event showed Kelly sporting stylish long ombré hair and a striking lime-green cropped top paired with matching high-waisted trousers, with the outfit subtly revealing her slim waist and creating a fashionable look that was both athletic and powerful.

Her appearance and condition quickly became another major talking point among netizens, who flooded the comments with praise that Kelly “still looks amazing at 53!” and “She looks so beautiful and healthy — and she has maintained herself so well even after having children!”

Marrying Her First Love After a 16-Year Romance

Kelly’s love life is also regarded as something of a fairytale in the entertainment industry, as she and her husband Alex Lau (劉建浩) have been together since their youth. After dating for 16 years, the couple married in 2008 and later welcomed two sons. The family of four has maintained a notably private and happy life away from the spotlight.

Despite her superstar status, Kelly places great importance on spending time with her children, and has reportedly turned down a number of highly paid jobs in order to remain in Hong Kong and take care of her sons.

Kelly has also said that she is not a strict “tiger mum” and does not expect her children to take on an exhausting list of extracurricular skills. Instead, her greatest wish is simply for them to grow up healthy and happy.
