Zhang Ziyi, Zhou Xun, and Vicki Zhao Are Highest Paid Chinese Actresses
Recently a list of the top 21 paid actresses from China was leaked, with Zhang Ziyi (章子怡), Zhou Xun (周迅), and Vicki Zhao (趙薇) emerging as the top earners.
Zhang Ziyi not only maintains a solid presence overseas as an international film star due to her popular movies, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon <臥虎藏龍>, Rush Hour 2, and Memoirs of a Geisha, but Ziyi was given the opportunity to star in some of China’s most high-profile films in recent years, including The Grandmaster <一代宗師> which helped her win multiple Best Actress awards across Asia, as well as John Woo‘s (吳宇森) The Crossing <太平輪>. It is no surprise that Ziyi’s is Mainland’s highest paid actresses at 15 million RMB per movie.
Tying in first place with Zhang Ziyi are Zhou Xun and Vicki Zhao who also command 15 million RMB per film.
Other actresses who earn similar salaries are: Gong Li (鞏俐) who receives 12 million RMB per movie; Shu Qi (舒淇), Fan Bingbing (范冰冰), Li Bingbing (李冰冰) and Baihe Bai (白百何) who pocket roughly 8 to 10 million RMB per movie.
Recently having became a mother to a baby girl, Yang Mi’s (楊冪) earning potential continues to rise. Not falling far behind Shu Qi, Yang Mi is paid 6 to 8 million RMB a movie.
In the tenth spot is Gao Yuanyuan (高圓圓) who earns 6 million RMB per film.
Despite the leaked filming fees, many questioned the actresses’ true earnings, as many projects are negotiated depending upon their roles and screentime.

That photo of Vicky is not so bad. True that she has better ones,but who can look good in every photo? Some people are photogenic and look good in photos but not in person while some look good in person and not in photos. It just depends.

You criticize her but you do not even know her name. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,but the way you criticize is totally uncalled for. Also,there is more to anyone rather than just looks. You need to learn to look beyond the surface and outer appearance. I personally think Vicky is very cute and attractive. Big eyes can be attractive to some people but not to others since it all depends on personal taste.

Pretty sure it’s within the Chinese market. I remember reading that people aren’t really fond of her there and she only has international appeals due to her Hollywood films. ZX and VZ are much more loved especially VZ.
