Aaron Yan Persistent in Staying in Music Industry; Not After Money
Aaron Yan (炎亞綸) promoted his album, The Moment <紀念日> at Wuhan Plaza last week. Since going solo from Taiwanese band, Fahrenheit (飛輪海), Aaron has released two of his own individual albums.
Other members of Fahrenheit, Wu Chun (吳尊) and Jiro Wang (汪東城) have been filming movies and dramas respectively, while Calvin Chen (辰亦儒) is interested in hosting entertainment shows. Since music album sales are not currently the best in terms of economic returns, what is keeping Aaron in the music industry? “It’s a natural thing. I am eager to have further developments, and the other three men want to develop in different areas. Can you imagine a world without music? Of course not! So no matter how poor the environment is, I am insistent upon it.”
Aaron revealed that he and the other former members of Fahrenheit still remain in contact with one another, primarily to ask about each other’s health conditions. They would also approach one another on important holidays. As for whom Aaron is most compatible with out of the three men, Aaron picked Wu Chun. He expressed that Wu Chun better understood his current situations, thus he likes to share his thoughts with him. Wu Chun constantly has migraines, and Aaron would be concerned about his health. On the other hand, Wu Chun would ask Aaron about how his music albums were carrying along.
Some time ago, rumors claiming that Aaron underwent plastic surgery circulated. They even pointed out that he and good brother, Jiro, “clashed faces” due to the plastic surgery both received. Coming back to this cosmetic surgery topic, Aaron appeared a little awkward. “Fixing up the face a little is not a big deal, as long as the original appearance isn’t altered.” Aaron also revealed that he loves taking care of his skin.
Regarding Aaron’s love life, he said that he has no plans for marriage at the moment. What kind of girls does Aaron prefer? “I really like natural girls. Too much makeup would cover up her most down-to-earth side. A girl should present her natural side to the guy she likes. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m peeling an onion, needing to strip off layer after layer just to see her real appearance.” Aaron laughed and further expressed that he has a cold attitude in terms of emotional aspects. He believes that the more cold he appears to be, the more lucky he is romantic encounters.

Aaron did say that music and singing are his passion and he would sing til his very last breath which shows the passion he has for music and singing. Therefore, I don’t think he is staying in the circle for money only.
Great that he still keeps in touch with the other members of FRH. I used to think that he and Jiro were closer, but I guess he is closer to Wu Chun.
Yeah, Arron’s love for music has always been known. Of the 4 FRH members, I think Arron and Jiro are the 2 who truly love music, but different kind of music. Arron likes ballads while Jiro likes rock.
His response about having PS seems to say that he did get stuff done, but it is probably minor compared to most cases. I guess he is indirectly admitting it.
