Barbie’s Family Could Not Visit Her Kids?

After her sudden demise in February this year, Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) and Wang Xiaofei (汪小菲)’s two children are now being cared for by Wang and his wife Mandy (馬筱梅), as they continued attending school in Taipei.

According to Taiwan’s Apple Daily, Barbie’s mom May (黃春梅), her sister Dee Hsu (徐熙娣), and spouse DJ Koo (具俊曄) have to obtain approval from Mandy before they are able to see the kids. Mandy reportedly disallowed Barbie’s kids to visit celebrity Chen Chien-chou‘s (陳建州) home to play with the latter’s twin sons.

Wang Xiaofei and Mandy are now settled in mainland China, and have been frequently flying back and forth for the sake of the children. In response to reports claiming that she has restricted the Hsu family from seeing the kids, Mandy responded by saying that she doesn’t have that kind of authority:

“There were plenty of chat records showing that S’s mother was welcome to visit the children, but no one ever came. They also know which school the children go to. I even gave them the kids’ WeChat contacts. As for the two nannies at home — one of them is actually a friend of the Hsu family’s eldest sister.”
