Starring Joo Ji Hoon and Jun Ji Hyun, Cliffhanger is hyped as one of South Korea’s most anticipated dramas.
The drama released photos and gave fans a first look of Joo Ji Hoon and Jun Ji Hyun as park rangers risking their lives to who rescue lost trekkers at South Korea’s largest national park, Mount Jiri. In the picturesque, yet mysterious mountain, the rangers brave through treacherous weather conditions such as heavy rains, blizzards, landslides and typhoons while putting their survival skills to the test.
In addition to the star-studded cast, Cliffhanger has a strong production team that includes screenwriter Kim Eun Hee who penned Netflix’s thriller Kingdom and director Lee Eung Bok who previously worked on Goblin and Descendants of the Sun. Lee Eung Bok expressed his gratitude to the cast and the production crew, and emphasized his commitment to maintaining a safe and happy environment.
Cliffhanger is expected to complete its filming in June of next year and is scheduled to air in 2021.
