Hosted by TVB, the Miss Hong Kong 2021 has started interviewing candidates for the annual beauty pageant. This year’s contestants include a batch of beautiful and smart young ladies, such as Hong Kong actor Eddie Kwan’s (關禮傑) elder daughter, Fabienne Kwan (關楓馨).
Due to Fabienne’s beauty, many family friends have urged her to join Miss Hong Kong years ago, but she wanted to explore other paths after graduating from college in England in 2016 with an education degree. The 26-year-old is slightly older than other contestants, but Fabienne emanates a mature and sophisticated aura. Coupled with her father’s celebrity status, Fabienne is already attracting media interest in her pageant participation.
Another standout contestant is Anna Wong (王嫿嫿), a 25-year-old master’s student at Hong Kong Baptist University. Growing up in Canada, Anna’s Cantonese is not fluent. Nonetheless, she emitted confidence when photographed by the media. A look through Anna’s Instagram sees her posting many selfies which showcased her good physique.
Chloe Leung (梁允瑜), who is 23 years old, appears much older than her actual age. Embracing her tall stature, Chloe is a fashionista and showcases many model-like photos on her social media page.
Yvette Chan, a 26-year-old influencer, is touted as a Karen Ng (吳千語) lookalike. Boasting an Instagram page with more than 30,000 followers, Yvette is popular and often shares swimwear photos to highlight her figure.
Another candidate, 24-year-old Trixie is seen as a mix between Crystal Fung (馮盈盈), Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), and Catherine Chau (周家怡).
