Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu Morph Into Heroes, Rescuing Victims of Building Collapse in “Ghetto Justice 2”
Triple-award winning TV King, Kevin Cheng ( 鄭嘉穎), was not only well loved by TVB, he was also praised by normally critical netizens. Hong Kong residents loved his role from Ghetto Justice <怒火街頭>, “Law Ba” while mainlanders admired him due to his Eighth Prince role in Bu Bu Jing Xin <步步驚心>. With his hot popularity, there was naturally a market for Kevin. After winning the 2011 TVB Best Actor Award, his filming fee alleged rose from $160,000 to $250,000 Yuan per episode in mainland China.
Since there was a large amount of money to be made in China, Kevin will start filming mainlander series Hero <英雄> after Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭2> wraps up. Kevin indicated that he will need to remain in China for six months when the filming for Hero occurs. Although he will be missing for half a year from Hong Kong, Kevin will earn $10 million Yuan for the 30-episode mainland series. It was rumored that Kevin earned $3 million Yuan per event appearance.
Sleeping for 3 Hours
It was useless even if there were daily exposure in Hong Kong and working to death in Hong Kong! Recently Kevin pulled numerous late nights while filming Ghetto Justice 2 due to filming outdoors and disorganized filming schedules from new onset production assistants. Appearing tired frequently, Kevin only slept three hours per night and relied on coffee to boost his alertness.
Awesome Building Collapse
The climax of the first installment of Ghetto Justice featured Shek Shau (石修) killing Sharon Chan (陳敏之). The ending of Ghetto Justice 2 will be more realistic, featuring a massive building collapse due to structural instability. TVB will invest heavily into the shooting of this disaster scene by featuring a damaged building in Ancient TVB City. The scene will be filmed this week and will feature Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu’s (胡杏兒) characters diving into the rubble to rescue victims of the building collapse. In the sequel, Kevin and Myolie will not simply portray lawyers.
Kevin Cheng and Ex-Girlfriend, Niki Chow, Both Currently Single
Yesterday Kevin Cheng and Myolie Wu filmed a scene for Ghetto Justice 2 in the Sham Shui Bo district. Regarding ex-girlfriend, Niki Chow’s (周麗淇) declaration that she “did not date and there was no need to sprinkle salt upon an open wound,” Kevin indicated that he did chat with Niki at Toby Leung’s (梁靖琪) wedding last week. Kevin found that Niki acted normally and there was no need to console her. In an interview, Kevin revealed that his love life was currently blank. Liza Wang (汪明荃) advised that Kevin should date short-term.
Myolie Wu Already Celebrated Boyfriend, Bosco Wong’s Birthday
Yesterday was Bosco Wong’s (黃宗澤) birthday. Asked whether she will be celebrating with Bosco after work, Myolie replied, “No, there will not be a celebration. He is very busy. We already cut the cake yesterday. Work is more important.” Myolie indicated that she wished for Bosco’s health and work to go smoothly.

i think its very likely, because all tvb actor said that they have more time to rest while filming in china, so it’s make sense if the film productions timing is wayyy longer than in tvb.

After those horrible years in Taiwan and betrayed out of a successful singing career, I sympathise with Kevin for being cautious. Fortunately he found someone he could trust again and Ms Lok (& the other 2 ladies whom he acknowledged in gratitude) helped him in his career. I’m totally with him regarding his choice of a wife. One has to have standard and not rush into marriage simply because of age.
Kevin, I support you. That’s a smart man talking. I wish you even bigger success in 2012 and also hope that you’ll release another cd which includes all the theme songs you sang for tvb series.

I think it is quite appropriate for lawyers to turn “heroes” first, helping the needy and then turn to legal matters to help them also.
Sure, Kevin is a smart person, hence looking for a smart wife. To date he has been clever enough to keep out of any scandal. I think he knows far more about Mainland China Dolls (as we like to call them in my country) than we do as he has lots of contact with them. When asked how he would stay away from any entanglements with them whilst in China, he quipped, “Don’t sleep!” I think he’s a very sensible person with his head screwed rightly on his shoulders.

Recently Kevin was photographed with the Mainland model, Jenny, with whom he was linked to some time ago. I hope there is really nothing to it and he must be cautious having her around! Some of these girls can be likened to predators just waiting to pounce on their victims. Let’s see, Kevin will be in China for the next 6 months. Will he remain intact after that period is over? I sincerely hope so though I did imply earlier that he is a sensible person. One must also be very strong!

I think Jenny was a mistake and Kevin got stuck to her and could not shake her off up till now. Looks like there was something serious with Niki and Charmaine. You can see in their duets ad pictures together that Niki was very either infatuated or in love with him. I can’t believe he was not interested in her in any way. They were simply a “pair”. Then came along Charmaine who seemed to have “spoilt the whole show” that caused the split between Kevin and Niki. What or rather who comes next is anybody’s guess I reckon. You have to make your choice now, Kevin, and work hard for it or it will be too late!
