It has been nearly a year since South Korean star Kim Seon Ho went on a hiatus over his abortion scandal with ex-girlfriend. When the media discovered that the ex-girlfriend had not been entirely truthful, the public slowly warmed up to Kim Seon Ho’s return and are hopeful to see him star in a new historical drama titled Hash’s Shinru.
According to South Korean media, Kim Seon Ho’s entertainment company has confirmed that the actor has received an offer and he is in active discussion to play the leading role.
Based on a web novel, Hash’s Shinru is set in the 15th century and follows the romance between a crown prince and a mysterious woman bounded by her fate. Kim Seon Ho will play crown prince Lee Hyang. A handsome and intelligent man who is fascinated about science and set up a research institute in the palace. One night, he meets a beautiful woman and he is captivated by her ability to predict the future.
The drama is garnering attention because the web novel’s author Yoon Yi Soon will also be helming the script. Yoo Yi Soo is a beloved author whose work, Love In the Moonlight was the source material for the popular drama of the same name.
Fans are excited to see Kim Seon Ho’s comeback to the small screen While the actor had shied away from the public since his scandal came to light, Kim Seon Ho began testing the water July of this year after starring in a play titled Touching the Void. The actor is also preparing for a fan meeting in December and it appears that fans will not have to wait long to see Kim Seon Ho in dramas.
