Synopsis and Cast
Ha Jung-woo plays Kang In Gu, a businessman who goes to Republic of Suriname hoping to make his fortune, but ends up getting embroiled into a drug smuggling operation after putting his trust in “Korean pastor” Jeon Yo Hwan (Hwang Jung-min), who is in fact a powerful drug lord with control of the drug trade there. Luckily, he is saved by Choi Chang Ho (Park Hae-soo), a National Agency Service agent, and later recruited into the secret government mission to apprehend the drug lords.

In the trailer, Golden Horse Best Actor Chang Chen (張震) also makes a surprise appearance where he points a gun at Ha Jung-Woo, turning up viewer buzz given that little has been revealed about his role.

Intrigued by the story, characters and plot development the first time he read the script, Ha Jung-woon initiated a discussion with the director, who along with the screenwriter refined the details, while Ha Jung-woo expressed how each episode kept his curiosity piqued.

Set for a Netflix release on September 9 in over 190 countries, the six-episode series is also notable as actor Ha Jung-woo’s first project since he was fined 30 million won for the illegal use of sedative drug and sleep inducer Propofol in 2019.
