Leehom Wang Announces Comeback Concert

Since his divorce in 2021, Leehom Wang’s (王力宏) career and public image crashed. His ex-wife Jinglei Lee (李靚蕾) accused him of cheating multiple times and soliciting prostitutes during their marriage. When his scandal initially broke, all of Leehom’s endorsements in China were dropped and the singer faced millions of dollars in fines for breach of contract. Hoping one year is enough time for his scandal to fade, the 46-year-old singer is ready to make his concert comeback.

Leehom is confirmed to perform at Resorts World Las Vegas on January 28, 2023. The venue can hold 4,703 people. Kwan’s Entertainment expressed that they have a longtime collaboration with Leehom, but concert plans were delayed due to the pandemic.

The concert posters presented a different image of Leehom, as he is seen wearing a white t-shirt with shoulder length, wavy hair. The sales of his concert will be a sign as to whether he will be able to revive his career fully after his scandal.

Recently, Leehom has been working hard at practicing his singing and composing new songs. Reporters reached out to his agency for Leehom’s thoughts on his comeback, but there was no comment.

Meanwhile, Leehom’s custody battle over his three children had hearings in New York and Taipei. Leehom allegedly have not seen his children for months after communication with his ex-wife broke down.

  1. He will have no problem getting full attendants in Vegas. However, in China, it probably won’t happen

    1. No he will not have a problem filling an American venue. He has such a huge American fanbase as he has both Western and Asian fans in the USA. I believe we have more news to hear about him in the new year. How he and his wife used each other for their own purposes still makes me sick. She is not all innocent in this, although she is the lesser of two evils.

      1. I’m still failing to see what she did wrong? Why is it always both party at fault? Because it always is??? We don’t know their relationship, but so far, he is the one that seems manipulative. And if we keep saying both at fault when we don’t know better, wouldn’t that mean we lessen his crimes? I found that every single case, it seems the victim can never get their name clear 100%, it’s always both are at fault, meanwhile the fault party is like aww, it’s not entirely his fault, and because he’s a public figure or a woman, therefore, he’s basically walks free. No one should be support this dude

  2. I am not sure if I would want to see him if I have to pay. Free yes, not sure about costing $$. I just can’t bring myself to fandom him after the fiasco.

    1. @littlefish first thing
I am not in support of WLH, abd I agree no one should pay money to see him. I said she is not innocent in all this because she went into this marriage knowing that it was not based on love. She knew she would be in the money when she hooked up with him. She even started treating her hommies like she was better than them and she ghosted a lot of people. This marriage always had something off. In fact, there was a lot off about this marriage from day one. She also need to understand she could not and cannot change a user who was only interested in providing his parents with grandkids, and feeding the well manufactured image of his. She should have run far from him cause she knew what the l and 0 is like.

      1. His career should not end because of a messy love live. He probably shouldn’t be idealized due to his gray moral character, however. Love is not logical and his wife tolerated him for years. There’s proof he cheated repeatedly and he manipulated her via text and video. There’s no proof she married him for money; she met him real young so it’s more like puppy love. She’s pretty and has a PhD. It was said in their joint banking account, she put in a huge chunk–legal documents. She doesn’t earn millions RMB for just breathing like WLH, but she made real good money as a C-level exec like we are talking half a million USD a year here.

  3. Cheating is morally wrong but shouldn’t be career ending. Whatever on the prostitution if it was legal and safe to do so. I’ve never been a fan of this guy so not fussed.

But did they really have to photoshop pecs and abs on that white shirt image 😀
