Louis Cheung and Leila Tong Collaborate Again After 22 Years
Louis Cheung (張繼聰) and Leila Tong (唐寧) will be starring in Patrick Kong’s (葉念琛) upcoming film.
It has been over twenty-two years since their collaboration. Louis went on Instagram to announce the news, stating, “Thank you director Patrick Kong for the invite. I get to take part in his new project! Working with Leila Tong again after over twenty years!”
Both Louis and Leila debuted in the industry as child stars. When they were twelve to thirteen years old, Louis and Leila collaborated in the 1993 RTHK drama, CYC Family <CYC家族>, in lead roles. CYC Family also starred Bryan Leung (梁家仁), and Idy Chan (陳玉蓮).
Netizens expressed their anticipation for Louis and Leila’s new film together. They expressed that the two of them have not changed at all since CYC Family, and joked that their new film should be called “CYC Family: The Sequel.”
