Myolie Wu Thanks the Media for Her Virtual Boyfriends
Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Eliza Shum (岑麗香), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) and Linah Matsuoka (松岡李那) attended the Atsuro Tayama fashion show yesterday. Myolie was naturally the focus of rumors and gossips, as she recently ended her relationship with Bosco Wong. Myolie was rumored to be courted by her Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II> costar, Adrian Chau 周志文.
Adrian reportedly did everything to please Myolie while filming in Sanya, Hainan. Several tabloids have even dubbed Adrian as a “younger version of Bosco Wong.”
When asked about Adrian, Myolie joked, “A younger version of Bosco? That’s pushing it! I nevertheless want to thank the media for their continued support for giving me new boyfriends, but I am looking for someone a few years older. Adrian is ten years younger than me!”
As Adrian already has a girlfriend, Coco Yuen (袁聖殷), Myolie would not want to see Coco upset about such gossip. Myolie also asked Adrian to explain to Coco that these rumors were fabricated.
Myolie denied the rumors accusing Adrian of trying to please her. She stated, “I am not into guys younger than me. I find it funny. I feel like a big sister. Guys older than me can take care of me.”
When asked whether ex-boyfriend, Bosco Wong, was concerned about these rumors, Myolie said, “He did not ask me. We have had little contact. We are both busy.”
Confused About Anti-Japanese Statement in China
Recently The China Radio and Television Association (CRTA) released a list of artists supporting China in the Diaoyu Islands Dispute against Japan. Myolie was confused why she was included in the list. She stated, “I read it on a blog and I am not sure why I was even listed. I wish for peace on earth, and I hope the two governments will reach a compromise soon.”
Although Myolie’s stepmother is Japanese, she is not worried about working in mainland China. Myolie will be heading to Shanghai this coming Friday, and she hopes the events will quickly subside.

This “I am not into younger guys” is indirectly referring to her ex, I believe. 1. She’s not getting back with him. 2. Myolie doesn’t want another case of Bosco.
Well, she ought to live by that saying (since she’s saying it a lot), or the media will bring it up if she dates a younger guy. Heck, she’s already linked with a few, lol
I believe she’s hinting to all that her chance of getting back to Bosco is 0% by the “I don’t want younger guys” statement.
Who knows that the real reason Boscolie parted was because Myolie had enough of having to take care of a “little brother” and want to be taken care of instead?
Whoa hey that makes a lot sense. Virginia Lok was quoted as saying “at a certain age women need security and stability and I don’t blame Myolie for wanting that” and people were quite to say that it was his flirty behaviour. I wasn’t sure what to think exactly but you’re theory seems highly probable to me.
Bosco is only a year younger than her. They’re basically the same age but some guys just never grow up…
That’s how I read her statement, too. Although I do think that the break-up is still fresh and the future may hold a reconciliation… that is, if Bosco does actually grows up, since really he is only a year younger than her.
I don’t trust Adrian Chow. In case many here don’t know, Adrian has had a sexual picture scandal early this year and his girlfriend who is a HK model always coming to check on him during filming because he’s dubbed as a casanova.
I just read the article about Adrian’s past scandals. I hope he’s not purposely clinging to Myolie and stick around her to create rumours or to satisfy his player needs.
This Adrian guy looks smaller in size than Myolie, can he protect her when she’s trouble? Myolie seems bigger than him lol..

Yeah this Adrian look a bit soft while Myolie has always have a manly side that I noticed since her role in WOIL.
not only Myolie seems manlier than her co-stars sometimes, Christine Kuo, Toby, Linda and Fala too looks bigger than their co-star sometimes haha.. probably their big bone that make them look big.
Kate Tsui and TY both have smaller bone built up, so they can pair with any sizes of male co-star easily.
When Myolie attended events with Kevin, I always see Kevin look so tiny. Christine Kuo is also bigger than Kevin in GJ2. Haha.
Kate looks quite small onscreen but outside, she looks not that tiny. Linda looks smaller out of TV so I think it dun affect her much.
What’s freaky is Myolie and Fala are actually so much thinner than normal small sized girls. So how small are these men!?
I think Kevin, Pierre Ngo, Patrick (selena’s exbf), are those tiny ones in person.
Also i wanna add LF’s cousin Xia Wei into the tiny list, she is just bone and skin but she gotta a sweet face.

Adrian has a twin brother, next time reporters will run to this twin. They look alike ah.
His twin brother don’t have scandals whle Adrian has many and the twin stay lower profile. They have different personalities although they look alike.

Myolie said the same thing about NOT wanting to date guys younger than her and prefer older mens in interviews a couple of years back but she still dated one and it ended up in a mess so I guess she did have the intention to date someone older but when fate comes it’s just pretty hard to resist.
Anyhow after the bad experience with younger guys I guess Myolie doesn’t want to bet on it anymore since she’s not young herself so finding someone older and mature might just be a good idea but who knows some younger mens can be more mature then their age( looks and personality wise) as compare to someone who is 30++ but still act and think as an 18 year old.
Those guys are just in dramas imo. Who wants to be a mother figure for a boyfriend?

Adrian reminds me of Leo Ku. He doesn’t even look like Bosco, some HK media just want to start something. Adrian has no chance of Myolie, just look at the picture above. She is leaning the other way, if she feels it for him, she would be leaning his way. Just a thought 🙂
I think Myolie is past flirting with the “younger” set of boys. She is TV Queen and has gone through a lot especially lately and will be bothered only with older and more matured men. She is sophisticated and bright and will go only with more serious affairs. At the moment Adrian Chao looks more like a schoolboy!
