Park Bo Gum Joins Military Service in August

Korean artiste Park Bo Gum announced that he will be joining the navy for his mandatory military service on August 31. Although fans will miss Park Bo Gum, the actor is currently working hard to complete filming two more works, a drama titled Record of Youth and a film titled Wonderland. As the countdown begins for Park Bo Gum’s enlistment next month, a trailer for Record of Youth was released to drum up anticipation for the drama’s release.

The drama also stars Park So Dam, who shot to fame after appearing in critically-acclaimed film Parasite. Park Bo Gum plays an aspiring model and actor who starts a relationship with Park So Dam’s character after meeting through their work. The drama follows the leads as they chase after their dreams while facing various challenges in their lives.

There will be many sweet and romantic scenes such as a coffee shop date and strolls in the rain. The trailer ends as Park Bo Gum’s character narrates, “I feel comfortable and safe when I’m you. I’ll call you when it rains. You are not alone.”

Reacting positively to the trailer, fans are eager for its premiere on September 7.
