Rosina Lam Denies Bankruptcy

TVB Best Actress winner Rosina Lam (林夏薇) recently sparked surprise when news broke that a company named Lau Kwong & Hung Solicitors had filed a bankruptcy petition against her in the High Court. According to the judiciary’s website, the hearing is scheduled for August 26 this year.

Rosina Lam had married finance executive Jason Mok (莫贊生) in 2015, becoming a wealthy socialite. Since then, she has been living a luxurious lifestyle and often flaunted their HK$1.5 billion mansion on The Peak.

In response to the bankruptcy news, Rosina told the media, “My husband Jason’s rental property company is involved in a lawsuit and is currently appealing. So this whole thing is baffling to me. The matter has been handed over to our lawyer, and I haven’t received any official notice.”

She later uploaded a lawyer’s letter to further address the issue. As of the night of 30th May, she responded again on Weibo, “Thank you all for your concern. I am not bankrupt. Please stop spreading rumors. The matter has been handed over to our lawyer!”

The couple were previously reported to be facing financial difficulties back in 2018.
