Eliza Sam and Tavia Yeung Show Off Friendship to Dispel Rumors
Eliza Sam (岑麗香) has been a magnet for dating gossips since rising to “Goddess” status. The 28-year-old attracted attention from her male costars on set of Sniper Standoff <神槍狙擊2013>, and was briefly linked to top bachelor Kenneth Ma (馬國明) earlier this year. Recently, reports claimed that Eliza became involved with costar Him Law (羅仲謙) on the set of The Hippocratic Crush 2 <On Call 36小時2>, prompting allegations that Him is cheating on girlfriend Tavia Yeung (楊怡). While all parties have already denied the rumors, Tavia and Eliza further disproved the claims with a display of friendship during a recent location shoot.
Earlier this week, the cast of The Hippocratic Crush 2 filmed several outdoor scenes at the beach. Tavia, Eliza, and Tracy Chu (朱千雪) enjoyed their day out in the sun, playing with beach balls and made sand sculptures with the child actors.
Eliza expressed helplessness when asked to comment about her dating rumors, stating she did not feel that any of her male costars treated her any differently. She also seemed frustrated by gossips involving Him. “It’s silly! It’s not true at all! Tavia and I are on very good terms. Earlier when we went on a work trip I specifically changed seats so that I could sit next to her.”
Tavia also emphasized her friendship with Eliza. When asked if she would tell Him to keep his distance from Eliza, Tavia joked, “I would tell Eliza to get closer to me! We should be rumored together instead!” Hearing her response, Eliza immediately walked up to Tavia. The two threw their arms around each other and gave each other pretend kisses, showing off their friendly bond.
Lawrence Ng (吳啟華) and Louisa So (蘇玉華) were also on location to shoot a romantic stroll down the beach. Louisa shared that she is a hopeless romantic and loves to take walks on the beach. Lawrence was asked if he had done the same with his wife. He joked that he had walked with many others. Lawrence also shared his thought about Sheren Tang’s (鄧萃雯) comments regarding a lack of prepared script while filming Beauty at War <金枝慾孽貳>. “I’m used to it already; it’s not a big deal. Don’t be too angry over this; it may make matters worse.”

HK reporters…lol. It’d be more interesting if they reported that Eliza became involved with Tavia instead. It would make their headline stories a little less predictable. At this rate being reportedly involved with every single male artist she costars with or goes near, she would have dated all tvb male artist by the end of the year.

I don’t think Eliza Sam is that kind of person. She may be very friendly and casual (i.e. her personality), but she will not get attached to any male co-stars so easily.

I agree with you too- born and raised in a western culture, it’d be no surprise if her personality comes off as very friendly, or perhaps even ‘too’ friendly in HK society.

Eliza and Him? Don’t believe it at all! Why? Because Him is still not established yet. He still needs Tavia’s good image to redeem himself and so he is still on Tavia’s payroll as her loverboy. Eliza may be true love but Tavia’s the stable career enhancing one!
As outsiders, we wouldn’t know. But, Eliza and Him are a better match than Tavia and Him.
But, in a few years’, Him Law would have a stable career.

“not yet established…still needs tavia’s good image to redeem himself’….whether or not he’s ‘using’ Tavia or no matter how he’s so called redeeming himself with her image, if his skills and acting ability is crap or there is no improvement whatsoever, his career isn’t going to last very long, and will forever be unestablished. Even if he’s supposedly using her to clean up his own image, in the end his image wouldnt mean a thing if his career ain’t going no where, and no one would care.

L+L! That’s what I was hoping for since they were announced to join but then they stuck Lawrence with newbie Tracy. Hopefully it’s not just wishful thinking
