Aimee Chan Treated Like A Queen

Moses Chan (陳豪) is giving it all to his wife Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) and their newborn son, Aiden. Since the birth of their son in early December 2013, Moses has been busy balancing out work life and home life. The new parents have mobilized an entire crew to care for their son, including Moses’ mother, Aimee’s parents, the family’s maid, and Aiden’s babysitter.

Moses’ mother, once a traditional Chinese medical doctor, concocted her own family recipe for Aimee, who is regularly breastfeeding Aiden. Aimee’s parents, on the other hand, are in charge of making soup and preparing for other nutritious meals. Moses, despite his busy work schedule, is also willing to sacrifice his sleep time to help care for Aiden.

A Loving Husband and Caring Son

Several weeks ago, Moses was spotted moving a large, seven-feet Christmas tree to his family’s villa in The Beverly Hills. Some of his staff members also helped Moses move his Christmas presents to his car, and the polite Moses was seen politely bowing to the staff in thanks.

Moses’ mother had nothing but praises when the press mentioned her son. She said, “My son really is good! He is very respectful. I’ve saved up money for him, but he never used it. He’s very filial.”

His mother explained that Moses went to Hong Kong before he could finish his accounting degree in Australia. She saved up some money for Moses just in case he could not find a job, but he never took it. “We used to live in Tai Wan Shan. There was one time he injured his waist while shooting a movie, but he ignored his injury and still helped the old man climb up the hill.”

Carrying the “Ai” prefix, it was reported that Moses named Aiden after Aimee. Asked if Aiden has been given a Chinese name yet, Moses’ mother said, “You’ll have to ask Moses for that!”

Staying in TVB?

Recent reports are saying that Moses will renew his exclusive TVB contract, which is deemed to expire in January 2014. According to the tabloids that reported the news, Moses was originally on the edge about renewing his contract earlier, as his longtime manager Kelly has decided to resign from TVB in order to establish her own management company. It was said that in order to convince Moses to renew his contract, TVB decided to give Kelly an executive management position, pushing Virginia Lok (樂易玲) to look over TVBC – TVB’s Chinese subsidiary in Shanghai – instead.
