Moses Chan to Hold 100-Day Banquet for Son

Moses Chan (陳豪) revealed that he is currently planning for a hundred-day banquet for his son, Aiden Joshua, in the coming months. Moses disclosed his plans at a recent grand opening ceremony for the gourmet chocolate store Ferrero Boutique, where Moses was invited to be the store’s celebrity ambassador.

Asked if Ferrero Boutique will sponsor the hundred-day banquet, Moses joked, “Good! I didn’t think about holding [the banquet] before but now I have to!” He then added, “Actually, we have been thinking about holding a hundred-day banquet, but we are not sure if we want it to be a big party or a small one.”

Moses said he has not yet booked any venues for the banquet. “We’re still brainstorming about what we’re going to do.” Asked if the banquet will be a simple dinner, Moses shook his head, “We really don’t know yet. But there’s still about a month left so we have time.”

The 42-year-old gushed that his son Aiden, who was born in early December 2013, has been growing fast. “He’s heavier, taller, and already 11 pounds!” Moses said happily.

As a new father, has Moses gotten used to the lack of sleep? He said, “Yeah, I’m used to it now. When there is a newborn, parents will naturally get less rest. I’m starting to adapt and I’m getting better at it. I will help give him baths. He is so cute!”

Moses praised his wife Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) for keeping a great figure after pregnancy and calling her “A beautiful mother.” Moses will give his full support to Aimee, who will be making a comeback soon to film a new TVB drama this summer.

    1. Michelle Saram, that one who can’t act in A Step Into The Past.

      1. She was also in At the Threshold of an Era, right? She does look a bit different, but I think it’s also because of the hair (used to seeing her with the short hair she had back when she filmed for TVB).

Definitely agree that her acting was bad back then (pretty much forwarded through most of her scenes)….she IS pretty though.

      2. She is a big miscast in A Step Into the Past. I actually cheered Kong Wah’s villainous character in a rare moment of exhilaration when he strangled her to death in the series.

      3. Don’t blame her acting skill. It was her first time shoot with TVB. She is Singaporean not Chinese.

      4. Agree with Peter. Majority of Singaporean actors/actresses have very poor acting skills.

      5. Her acting was not good but she was still new back then so just give her a break. I saw her in Meteor Garden 2 and her sting was a little bit better but still not good. I gave been wondering what gap owned to her all these years. Did she retire? It is great to see her again.

      6. I would not say all Singaporeans have bad acting. It is a stereotype to think that way.

      7. “She is Singaporean not Chinese”

Peter, Singaporean is nationality. I believe she is a mixed between Chinese and errr… Indian? Hence her unique features.

      8. Funn Lim,

Yes, Singaporean is her Nationality. Her dad is a Indian, and her mum is a Chinese so I should say she is a Eurasian. I’m from Singapore too 🙂

      9. I know that she was bad in Meteor Garden 2 but was a bit better than in A Step into the past. Yes, she is mixed with her dad being Indian and her mom Chinese, but I would not call her a Eurasian because Indians are not European. Some would consider them Asian while some would consider them middle eastern.

    2. Holy gosh, that’s her?? She’s so much prettier now! Acting skill aside, I really didn’t recognize her here cuz she looks different.

  1. At first look, the girl next to him looked like Bernice lol
aww Moses sounds like such a great husband (:

  2. I can imagine Moses smiling from ear to ear. He’s so proud of his Aiden that he wants to hold his “100 days banquet”, to show him off? Moses and Aimee seem to be a very happy and well adjusted couple. Congratulations to them!

  3. It’s Michelle Saram. Where have she been? Haven’t see her in any movie & series. She’s look great & beautiful. Hope she’ll return for acting & work with Moses Chan.

  4. When she was an actress, I don’t find her pretty and irritating.

Only on her wedding day and after, suddenly she looks so pretty to me.

  5. It’s supposed to be the 100th day banquet, not 100-day banquet. The latter sounds like he’s going to hold the banquet that is as long as a hundred days.
