Wu Chun Acted as Matchmaker for Calvin Chen
Recent controversy over Fahrenheit’s disunity was sparked by the remarks of Aaron Yan (炎亞綸), who later tried to retract his statements that the members were not friends. Calvin Chen (辰亦儒) asserted that all four members of the band were there for each other through a long and arduous professional journey. Calvin revealed that he is the closest to Wu Chun (吳尊), who tried to match-make him with girls from Brunei.
Recently, Calvin appeared as a special guest on a TV program which featured Wu Chun and his daughter, Neinei. After spending time with Wu Chun and Neinei, Calvin admits that he was influenced by Wu Chun’s “Good Daddy” image and is inspired to settle down and start a family of his own.
Blissfully enjoying his role as a faithful husband and a doting father, Wu Chun attempted to share his joys with Calvin by match-making Calvin with his wife’s best friend. It succeeded for a while, and the two couples went on many happy double dates.
While the relationship did not last, Calvin has become well acquainted with little Neinei. Calvin proudly shares that Neinei would often chat with him using Wu Chun’s mobile phone. Unable to resist the adorable Neinei’s charms, Calvin once jokingly texted Wu Chun, “I like your daughter.”
Wu Chun was quick to play along, and replied, “If you are still single 18 years later, I’ll consider letting you marry Neinei!”

I’m surprised that Calvin can keep the relationship secret for 2 years. He mentioned in another article that he has to choose non peak hours flight and plane with less passengers when traveling to Brunei. But, still, with him traveling to and fro between Taiwan and Brunei so often, I’m surprised that it didn’t alert the paps. Did Calvin pay off the paps to keep quiet? 😛
I always know Calvin and Wu Chun is close within Fahrenheit. But, I didn’t know they are so close that Wu Chun would match-make his girlfriend’s close friend with Wu Chun. That’s a new level of closeness.
Now, I wonder if Calvin really didn’t know Wu Chun was married before he made his announcement to the world.

Clarification:
Wu Chun match-made Calvin and his wife’s best friend when his wife was still his girlfriend.
Calvin became well acquainted with NeiNei after he visited Wu Chun in the show ‘ Dad is Back’. That was quite recent.
So, the 2 events are from different timeline.
