Linda Chung and Nancy Wu Face-off in “Tiger Cubs 2”
Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣) filmed an outdoor fight sequence in Sai Kung for Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎>. The storyline being filmed involved Nancy avenging her elder brother (portrayed by Johnson Lee 李思捷) by attempting to annihilate the Special Duties Unit, only to be stopped by Linda, who portrays a CIB cop.
To prevent injury, Linda took precaution by wearing extra layers of protective gear. Asked if her rumored boyfriend, action choreographer Philip Ng (伍允龍), was the one who taught her the safety tricks, Linda said no.
Wearing such heavy protective gear, was she afraid that Philip would be worried for her safety? Linda said, “I was afraid that my family would be worried. When I first debuted in the industry, I didn’t take care of my body. It took a long time for the scars on my body to fade.”
At the mention that Nancy was a good fighter, Linda agreed. “She fought amazingly well in Gloves Come Off <拳王>, and she knows three types of martial arts! I need to watch out!” Has Linda asked for pointers from her boyfriend? “Don’t have time! I have to rely on my natural talent.”
Nancy Wu Wants To Have Children First
Nancy, donning a white wig, expressed that she was worried about injuring Linda. “She’s usually so gentle and such a soft speaker, so I was afraid that I would really injure her. Afterwards I fought with Joe Ma (馬德鐘). He’s a big guy, so I wasn’t afraid anymore,” she added with a laugh.
Rumored that she has accepted her boyfriend’s proposal, Nancy joked that whenever a new drama of hers begins to air, rumors and gossip regarding her marriage would run wild. Asked if she has marriage plans, she laughed, “I want to have kids first. I am afraid of getting too old to have children.”

Nancy reminds me a bit of a young Esther Kwan. They are both talented actors who look pretty natural on screen. They never give me the feeling that they are trying too hard or working too hard to look pretty. The likes of Linda, Myolie and Fala still have a lot to learn and a long way to go when it comes to their acting abilities.
I thought Linda will play a villain/criminal in Tiger Cub 2. So, I got the wrong news.
