ViuTV to Remake Korean Romantic Comedy, “Business Proposal”
Recently, ViuTV held its annual mid-year program conference, where the company introduced their upcoming dramas and variety shows. During the event, ViuTV announced plans to produce several dramas this year, which include the remake of beloved Korean romantic comedy, Business Proposal.
The original series centers around a female employee who accepts a blind date set up by her friend, only to find out that her date is actually her boss. Starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong, the series became one of the most popular romcoms of the year.
ViuTV’s remake will feature MIRROR members Anson Lo (盧瀚霆) and Edan Lui (呂爵安), who reunite after 2021’s Ossan’s Love <大叔的愛>.
Hanna Chan (陳漢娜) and Shirley Sham (沈殷怡) are confirmed to star as well. Although none of the cast members were present at the press conference, they pre-recorded messages to express their excitement over the new drama.

Law and Love <法與情> is a legal drama which stars female ensemble of Kay Tse (謝安琪), Dada Chan (陳靜), JJ Jia (賈曉晨), and girl band COLLAR member, Li Sum Ling (李芯駖).
Flying to the Top (飛黄騰達) revolves around betrayal and struggles between people over money and power. The drama stars Ivy So (蘇雅琳), Boris Wong (黄浚銘), Phoebus Ng (吳啟洋), George Au (歐鎮灝), Brian Chan (陳安立), and Andy Lai (黎展峯).
Food Buddies will be a series that tells three standalone love stories revolving around the development of romantic relationships through dating apps.
I hope they’re not gonna be the lead…the boys aren’t goodlooking enough to play the ML
