Terence Yin and Xu Dongdong Tie the Knot

Chinese actress Xu Dongdong (徐冬冬) is officially heading down the aisle with Hong Kong actor Terence Yin (尹子維). Sharing elegant wedding photos on social media recently, the couple confirmed that they will be holding an official wedding ceremony on February 26, 2026.

Alongside the photos, Xu Dongdong penned a heartfelt caption that quickly went viral: “The movie I watched when I was young—the groom in the movie became my husband and the movie’s theme song will be our wedding theme song.…” Their wedding theme song, “I Do,” is written and performed by Terence himself, adding yet another layer of destiny to the romance.

In addition to the upcoming wedding, the couple also recently held a traditional ceremony in Xu Dongdong’s hometown of Harbin. Terence revealed the couple had a disagreement over the wedding location. He originally wanted to hold it in Hangzhou, as he was worried about Harbin’s freezing February temperatures. Xu refused to budge and insisted on getting married in her hometown. In the end, the couple came to a compromise and planned to host two weddings: one in Harbin for family and relatives, and another in Hangzhou or Shanghai for colleagues and friends.

Following the wedding announcement, Yin, often labeled a “love-brain” by netizens, angrily clapped back at rumors, “Someone is writing nonsense saying this is my second marriage! This is my first marriage! Anyone who writes nonsense will all have six marriages!” He then added, “If my wife had been married ten times, I would still marry her! I’m not a love-brain! Neither of us is!”
