Eliza Sam Confident in Long Distance Relationship with Boyfriend
Although Eliza Sam (岑麗香) is in a new dating relationship for only six months, she is very compatible with boyfriend. Keung, who is a Canadian-born Chinese, has returned to Canada. While managing a long distance relationship is not easy, Eliza believes that they can make it work through frequent communication.
At a recent promotional event, Eliza drew attention in a sensual backless pink and black dress. Although sometimes wearing sexy attire at functions, Eliza said it is not necessary to discuss her wardrobe choices with her boyfriend first. Explaining that she has an independent personality, Eliza said, “He will get to see [my outfit] on social media!” Asked if she buys clothes for Keung, Eliza expressed, “I know that many couples in Korea like to wear matching outfits. This idea is quite intriguing.”
Introduced to each other through their mutual friends, Eliza and Keung share the same Christian faith. The couple was spotted dating in a mall in Hong Kong earlier this month. Although Keung has already returned to Canada, the couple talk to each other every day. Eliza said, “Technology is so advanced. We can text, and video chat. We’ll take it a step at a time. The most important thing is to not have pressure.”
To avoid media pressure, Eliza shared that her mother previously advised her to be low profile about her dating life. When asked whether TVB is unhappy about her relationship, Eliza said, “No, as long as I do my best in my duties as an artiste.” On whether her workload has increased since publically acknowledging the relationship, Eliza shared, “Not sure. Previously, I was on vacation and returned to my hometown [in Canada] to visit my mother.”

I like her attitude. The newer generation of TVB artists have a more open approach when it come to dating/relationship. Before people will lie about dating now they are Ok with being expose. Wishing her the best for sure as long distance relationships are not easy.
It may also be because her Boyfriend resides in Canada. If her boyfriend would to live in Hong Kong, I’m not sure if she would publicise it.With paparazzi following them around… However, I do admire her atittude of acknowledging the relationship too, it’s not easy to do that In the entertainment industry with fear of losing fans or supporters. Just an opinion, even if she is caught dating, I think it would just be an article on half or quarter of a page or a small headline anyway. I don’t think her romance would be highly emphasise by the paparazzi, it will most likely be just a come and go thing.

she’s very cute & pretty, i like her. i know she can’t act but she’s got charisma and i don’t mind watching her.
Oh Eliza! Thought you would’ve learned from your past mistake that LD relationship’s don’t work for you, but I guess you chose to walk the same path again. Hope you won’t end up in the same predicament as last time and defy all odds. Good luck!
