Grace Chan Releases Own Beauty Brand, Snow Queen

Grace Chan (陳凱琳) is going from acting to business.

On March 27th, the TVB actress announced that she has been working on her own beauty brand, Snow Queen. The brand’s very first product, cotton facial pads, was revealed at the brand’s first popup shop in Tsim Sha Tsui on Friday.

“I never thought I’d be this good at keeping secrets, but I’ve done it this time!” wrote Grace on Instagram. “I haven’t said anything until now, but I’m so proud to unveil a project that I’ve been working on for quite some time. I also can’t stress enough how much hard work and effort has gone into this (thank you to all the amazing people involved) and I’m so excited to introduce it to you all.”

Many of Grace’s friends in the industry attended the opening ceremony for the Tsim Sha Tsui pop-up shop, including Natalie Tong (唐詩詠), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), Phoebe Sin (單文柔), Ben Wong (黃智賢), and Yeung Chiu-hoi (楊潮凱). Grace’s parents also attended. Her husband Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), however, did not attend.

“We spent a lot of time researching and carefully selecting materials from Japan,” said Grace. “We even went to Taiwan to check out the factory and make sure that the quality is upheld. I even made myself the lab rat for the clinical trails. I want to make sure that it’s perfect before introducing it to everyone.”

The Snow Queen cotton facial pads are makeup wipes formulated to clean and hydrate the skin.

Snow Queen will be opening more pop-up shops in the future.
