Joe Chen and Husband Pay for Wedding Guests’ Expenses

Holding their wedding reception in the second half of September in Langkawi, Malaysia, a place which has special significance for the couple, Taiwanese actress Joe Chen (陳喬恩) and her Malaysian tycoon husband Alan Chen (艾伦)’s wedding event is set to take place on Sunday, 22 September!

Couple Will Cover Guests’ Expenses

Among the celebrities invited are Joe’s “7 flowers” girl group pals including Joyce Chao (趙小僑), Doris Lai (賴薇如), Finn Qiu (邱緯芬), Jade Chu (屈旻潔) and others, while the best men for their big day are said to be none other than Joe’s good friend Ming Dao (明道) and Joe Cheng (鄭元暢)!

According to talk on the grapevine, Joe and her husband are busy in Malaysia preparing for their wedding, while Joyce Chao revealed during interviews that accommodation, air tickets and other expenses of the wedding guests will all be fully sponsored by the couple, who put their own personal touch on a digital survey form asking about guests’ requirements. Doris also showcased the wedding favors from Joe and Alan on social media, which included the bride’s favorite sunflower, perfume, skincare items as well as a “love letter” from the couple to guests.

When interviewed, Kimi Hsia (夏于喬), who previously admitted that she only knew about being invited to the wedding through the press, said little. Meanwhile, Joe’s onscreen boyfriend Ming Dao revealed that he already has work plans on the wedding day, and is uncertain if he would be able to turn up, though he will definitely prepare a wedding gift to wish her the best, though he humorously emphasized that “Joe doesn’t lack money”.

  1. I am delighted for Alan and Joe. She is good friends with Joseph Cheng and Ming Dao and it was so cool seeing them as art of her wedding party.
However some delusional fools are still commenting about Zhi Shu and Cian Qin, or Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng on platforms about Alan & Joe’s big day. Talk about emotional damage.

  2. My favorite part: their guests can most likely afford the expenses to travel to a destination wedding, but this bride and group and considerate and generous since they are people coming from afar and taking PTO. In America, you pay for your flight, dress, and hotel even if you are maid of honor
