Kate Tsui and Christine Ng Support Tavia Yeung in Car Scandal
The public was shocked when Tavia Yeung (楊怡) was photographed with her face on Him Law’s (羅仲謙) lap. Apple Daily implied that the couple’s compromising position was spurred by their unbridled passion, while Tavia claimed that she was heavily drunk and found Him’s lap to be only a comfortable resting spot.
Kate Tsui: “Public Figures Need to Behave Carefully”
Appearing at a function yesterday, Kate Tsui (徐子珊) was asked to comment on Tavia and Him’s “car shaking” incident. Admitting that she was shocked from the photos, Kate said that she has not fully digested what had occurred. “After seeing the pictures, I don’t know how to react. Since I don’t know the full details, I’m not in the position to comment.”
Since Tavia and Him have already clarified that nothing scandalous had occurred in the car, Kate said that she will believe their statement. “We are colleagues, so of course I will support her!”
Asked if she will act with restraint when she went out with a man, Kate replied, “The sad part is that I am not dating now…. As public figures, our behavior should be more careful.”
Christine Ng Does Not Doubt Tavia
Tavia’s good friend, Christine Ng (伍詠薇), was initially shocked by Tavia and Him’s car photos. Knowing Tavia for many years, Christine vouched that Tavia possessed a conservative personality. Doubting that Tavia had conducted herself inappropriately inside the car, Christine fully supported her.
“As her friend, I am clear on how Tavia treats other people and handles matters. As a friend, I was shocked for a bit initially, but it did not have much impact on me. I fully trust what kind of person my friend is. I know that Tavia is very upset, but there is not much to be done,” Christine said.
Adding that the photos were only stills taken from the incident and they were not moving images, Christine said, “The photos do not allow us to explain fully what happened.” Christine added, “Tavia Yeung, I love you! There is no need to care about anything else!”

Off topic a little, I think Kate has interesting character and quite good acting so far in the scenes from the trailers of HAL. Her crying scene is pretty well done with no “gwing” mouth like most of Txb fadans have. So I’m looking forward to see how she acts in this one. Maybe if it’s good and HAL has very high rating, she can be the winner.

Kate’s character in HAL sounds a lot more interesting than Tavia’s character in SSSS. I also heard many praises about Kate having a breakthrough character already.

I don’t know what the press is implying but for me this is milking everything (no pun intended) for what it is NOT worth.

6. She is upset now because everyone is implying they were having sexy times in the car. Frankly neither looked like they were doing anything more so sexy.
So why milk it more? PR. All Tavia needs to do is as she did; sorta implied she is in a relationship with him. My best friend wouldn’t even turn up at 2 AM or wait hours to pick me up so stop it with the best friend act. Just admit it. I mean this whole thing started as a PR for both of them so now they got thmselves into the hot news when normally, sorry to all Tavia fans, she is as bland as her dress sense as some implies and Him isn’t exactly perfect.

Funn: I totally agree with all your points. I really think nothing happened between the two of them in the car and that she was just plain drunk and passed out in the car. It was just unfortunate that the papparazzi were on their tails and caught photos of her while she was laying on his thigh and gave them a marvelous opportunity to fabricate the whole thing.

At the press con, tavia said she already puked when Him picked her up. If she was feeling that bad, why didn’t he recline her seat back so she could lean back and rest?
