Kelly Cheung’s Tips to Having a Great Figure

Always known as a Miss Chinese International beauty, Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) received a lot of positive attentive with her recent role in the drama Life on the Line <跳躍生命線>. Many have been curious as to how she is able to maintain such a great figure. Kelly states that this is not something that can be done in a day; it requires discipline and hard work.

When Kelly was 16 or 17, she was slightly chubby, weighing 147 pounds at 5-feet-7.5-inches tall. She tried to lose weight through many different methods ranging from not eating, to juice fasting, to not eating any oily food. However, she realized that these methods do not work in the long run and would often result in extra weight gain! Ultimately, she recognized that a balanced diet and intermittent fasting worked best for her.

Kelly is not too stringent in her diet and does not cut out fried food or junk food. She believes that by doing so it would cause her to crave these items, thus she may end up overeating. If she ends up eating too many snacks, Kelly will opt to for a light dinner.

She has three tips on how to maintain her figure. One, to eat more vegetables and less meat. Usually she would combine her vegetables and carbohydrates. If that meal included more meat, she would choose to eat less carbs. Two, to eat less processed food. Due to the nature of her work, she is not able to cook very often. However, when the opportunity arises, she will choose to use organic ingredients. Three, to practice at least five minutes of yoga daily. Usually she practices at home and also seeks the guidance of a trained professional.

  1. I thought she was rather good is Line on the line even when the series went kdrama in the end in 1 episode. However she is not great figure. She is stick thin.

  2. I would hardly call her figure great……….A bit curvier than HK women, but below par for ABCs, especially her coming from the States…………Even with the average figure, it doesn’t really make up for her weak acting.

  3. nope, not a great figure in the least bit. She looks like a transgender to me. Flat chested and too tall and skinny.

    1. @passingby I think in China, as well as most of Asia perhaps, being slender is synonymous to having a “great figure”. lol

Curvaceous figures don’t get nearly as much praise, contrary to the standards here in the west.
