Lee Joon Gi Thanks “Flower of Evil” Cast in Beautiful Handwritten Letter

Suspenseful Korean TV drama series Flower of Evil, starring Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won, officially ended its critically successful run last week. The tvN series centers on detective Cha Ji Won, who suspects that her loving husband may be a serial killer.

It was a bittersweet end for not long the viewers, but also for the cast and crew. On the day before the finale, Lee Joon Gi uploaded a group photo with the cast to Instagram, and shared a beautiful handwritten letter thanking the cast and crew of Flower of Evil.

“Although every project is memorable, I think this drama will last a long time in my mind,” wrote the 38-year-old actor. Recalling the difficulties and joys he’s experienced while filming the show, Joon Gi said, “With so many people coming together, we’ve created many great memories. On the one hand, we created happiness. On the other hand, we’ve come family. Now that we have to separate, we are all hoping that one day we will be able to collaborate again in new projects or new ways. I do feel a little empty about this.”

The cast all joined Joon Gi in sharing their thoughts about officially parting way with the series. Despite the dark nature of the series’ theme, the cast has all gotten along really well. Only time will tell if they get to collaborate again!
