Margaret Chung Teaches Advanced Yoga While 6 Months Pregnant
Margaret Chung Lai Kei married Myolie Wu Hang Yee’s ex-boyfriend, Nardone Ruggero, in a low-key wedding in Sai Kung in July. When the couple got married, Margaret was three months pregnant. Although Margaret is currently six months pregnant, she continued to teach yoga at Pure Yoga.
Earlier, reporters spotted Margaret walking to work in flat shoes. Although Margaret was six months pregnant, she remained fit and in good strength. A Pure Yoga student revealed that Margaret was still able to invert herself in the yoga class. The student commented, “When Margaret was in the early stages of pregnancy, we could not tell her state. She taught difficult yoga positions in class. Two weeks ago, Margaret balanced herself on her head for a few seconds. She is six months pregnant now and many students fear for her safety!”
An undercover reporter attended one of Margaret’s yoga classes to find out additional details. Margaret instructed students using both English and Cantonese. Since the reporter attended a beginner’s class, Margaret did not perform a head stand. Reporters contacted the owner of Pure Yoga, Almen Wong Pui Ha, to confirm whether Margaret continued to teach advanced postures. Almen said, “Many of our yoga instructors continue to teach class while pregnant. Some instructors teach up to one week before their due date. Yoga is less exerting than teaching aerobics; there are more verbal instructions and demonstration of techniques for students. Since Margaret has been teaching yoga for many years, she is aware of what her body can handle. If she feels that she can perform a head stand, that’s okay.”
Reporters tried contacting Margaret, but she ended the call quickly and evaded the press.

Jayne: Margaret Chung and Myolie Wu’s ex-boyfriend, Nardone, make a good looking couple. I can’t help but think of what would have happened had Myolie continued to date Nardone. Would she have married and gotten pregnant by now?
I think for Myolie, she probably would not have married Nardone or have become pregnant because she is so focused on her career now. She even tries to deny her relationship with Bosco to keep it as low-key as possible. I think for Margaret, it may be different because she is not that active in the entertainment circle and does not need to worry too much about her image or career. Look at her now. She is 6 months pregnant and is still healthy and teaching advanced yoga classes. It hasn’t affected her career. As the owner mentioned, she’s been teaching yoga for a long time and she should know what her body can handle. I do yoga too, and it’s definitely the most appropriate exercise for a pregnant woman, not aerobics or running, etc. As long as she maintains the control of her body movements and is focused she should be fine. Carric, I believe Myolie dated Nardone for 4 years when she first entered the industry. She broke up with Nardone before dating Bosco.
