Raymond Wong Returns Onscreen in “Police Dog Brothers” After 9-Month Hiatus
Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), and Tracy Chu (朱千雪) attended the costume fitting for TVB’s new police drama, Police Dog Brothers <警犬巴打>. Main leads Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Oscar Leung (梁烈唯) were absent due to conflicting work schedules. Earlier diagnosed with Behcet’s Disease, Raymond took a nine-month break from filming and is now excited to return onscreen.
“I’m really looking forward to filming, since I haven’t been at it in so long,” Raymond expressed. “It feels fresh and exciting, but I’m also kind of nervous.” In the series, he will be portraying a policeman who is also the heir to a chain fast-food store. Tracy will portray Bosco’s younger sister and Raymond’s lover, a greedy and stereotypical Hong Kong girl. Coming from a poor family and struggling to make money as a saleswoman, Tracy’s character tries to persuade Raymond’s character to run his family business.
Speaking of her role, Tracy laughed and expressed, “I also know how to do the ten Hong Kong girl poses!” She added that there would be more room to develop her character this time, since her previous professional roles as a doctor and policewoman had its limitations.
Bosco Wong and Linda Chung to Portray a Couple
Meanwhile, Bosco Wong will be reuniting with Linda Chung as an onscreen couple. Portraying a police officer, he will be attending lessons on how to train police dogs. Since Bosco has a pet dog at home, he expressed it should not be too difficult.
Although he and Linda have portrayed lovers before, Bosco revealed it would be different this time, “I’m looking forward to it, because Linda portrays a cool woman. In the past, she always received the girl-next-door type of role. This time, she is well-educated, intelligent, and doesn’t even bother talking to me.”
When asked if there is time to find a girlfriend, Bosco laughed and replied, “Do you guys have anyone good to introduce? I just returned to Hong Kong two days ago and have been really busy.”
