Ruco Chan and Mandy Wong Have Been Dating for Half a Year?
Since filming TVB series Brother’s Keeper <巨轮> in 2012, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) has been constantly rumored with his female costar, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣). Tabloids claimed Linda broke up with her martial arts boyfriend Philip Ng (伍允龍) in order to be with Ruco. However, their relationship reportedly did not last for long as Linda later got back together with Philip. Earlier, it appears that Ruco have found new love in Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and the two have allegedly been secretly dating for half a year.
Today, reporters photographed Ruco and Mandy sitting together in a car and chatting intimately. Mandy took the driver’s seat, and seemed to serve as a chauffeur. Although Ruco did not behave like a gentleman while they interacted, Mandy did not seem to mind. According to reports, Ruco and Mandy’s relationship originated half a year ago, back when they filmed for Captain of Destiny <張保仔>.
In 2013, Mandy reportedly dated TSL Jewellery’s marketing director, Anthony Tsim (詹文天), with plans of marriage. However, the couple later broke up due to differences on what post-marriage life should be like. An insider revealed that Mandy always had plans to join the acting industry since she graduated from an acting academy. Wishing to focus on her career, she did not have plans to withdraw from acting after marriage. Anthony’s parents, however, reportedly did not wish to have a celebrity-status daughter-in-law.
Linda Chung to Guest Star in “Brother’s Keeper 2”
The costume fitting for Brother’s Keeper 2 <巨轮II> took place at TVB City yesterday. Linda revealed she would only appear briefly in the series, “I will be guest starring in half an episode. My character’s story with Ruco was very unfortunate [in the first installment], so we’re not written together anymore.” Linda added that she is not sad over the script’s development, since there are still many ways to carry the story on. The cast will head to Okinawa, Japan to film some outdoor scenes.

There are always dating rumor whenever he talks or walks with a female lol. Is he not allowed to have female friends? I talk, eat lunch/dinner, ride in the car with male friends and co-workers but that doesn’t mean I’m dating him. Gee, tabloids and/or his management sure are hungry for the guy to date! Report something new about the guy for a change. Geeze.
If true I am absolutely shocked. Zero chemistry together. Even in the pictures so called intimately whatever, I can see a huge gulf. I don;t think it is true but let’s wait for Ruco to clarify. I won’t mind her, she is just boring that’s all which is good for him I suppose. If it is true, gut feeling tells me heading for splitsville. I see more intimacy between him and a host of other non rumoured girls than this one.
But since this came out of nowhere, could be true.

Yeah. I don’t believe this rumors either. Mandy is just not Ruco’s type of woman. No offence to Mandy’s fan.
Mandy already has a rich boyfriend whose family carried on the business of jewelery in HK (TSL, a HK listed company), So, “Big Hen won’t eat little rich”. More likely that Ruco & Mandy are just colleagues.

No meltdown? No denials? Why all of a sudden even the fans are quiet and Ruco seems to have disappeared?

@jayne I did say so but fans were quick to dismiss it and say it is repost of other people’s post. And since no denial this may be true then. Safe choice I suppose but I never liked Mandy, maybe this is a red herring or Linda was the red herring.

I think that’s because Ruco was flying back to HK and then left for Singapore early the next day. Probably no one caught him to respond. He did respond in Singapore on Wed. He said it’s not true. They have the same manger. That day they finished attending a function together and Mandy just gave him a ride.
