[STYLE] 2018 Golden Bell Awards Red Carpet Fashions
The 53rd Golden Bell Awards were held on October 6, 2018 in Taipei. Crowd Lu and Huang Peijia won Best Actor and Best Actress respectively. Below are the key red carpet looks at the television awards ceremony:
BEST DRESSED: Huang Peijia
Instead of shimmer and shine, Huang Peijia opted for a cool trendy look on the red carpet. Her navy collared dress was custom designed by D-S Wedding. Combining a sheer top, statement belt, and sweeping skirt, the dress is hard to pull off, but Huang Peijia looked like a winner in it.
MOST SEXY: Amber An, Tien Hsin, Janet Hsieh, Vivian Dawson
Amber An wore the most daring dress of the evening, in a Vivienne Westwood lace dress that showed off her curvy figure. Harry Winston diamond jewelry completed the look.
42-year-old Tien Hsin sparkled in a white beaded gown.
Janet Hsieh‘s nude gown is designed by White Atelier and hugs the actress’ curves everywhere.
As awards presenters, Janet Hsieh and Vivian Dawson both bared their chests in plunging white outfits.
OTHER NOTABLE LOOKS
Patty Hou wore a pink Valentino polka-dot dress on the red carpet, and a beaded silver dress by Taiwanese designer, Linwei, while hosting the awards ceremony. Amazing how Patty can pull off two very different looks in one night.
Peter Ho‘s partner was his beautiful wife, Peggy Lin.
Sandy Wu decided on a bold pattern for the red carpet.
ILL FITTING GOWNS: Vera Yen and Kathy Chow
Vera Yen‘s dress was ill-fitted for her body shape. Along with the girlish bangs, the childish look just doesn’t belong on the red carpet.
Kathy Chow is often applauded for her ageless beauty, but her waist went missing in this black cape dress.
