Vincent Wong Thanks Viewers Supporting “Murder Diary” Despite Low Ratings

TVB’s Murder Diary <刑偵日記> officially ended its Hong Kong broadcast on August 2.  Although the viewership ratings are not ideal with only a high of 17.5 points and a low of 10.2 points, the overall average for the 25-episode drama was 13.8 points which is the lowest the station has seen in decades.

Realizing that viewership ratings are not always indicative of a drama’s quality as viewers did praise the production for its script and acting, Vincent Wong (王浩信) took to Instagram to still thank supporters of the drama.

“I haven’t had time to thank everyone for supporting Murder Diary, given that I was busy filming ICAC Attack <廉政狙擊>. Although we didn’t have the best ratings, I’m very grateful to be a part of this production. I especially hope that viewers can take a moment to appreciate the hard work and effort that the cast and crew put into this work,” he wrote.

He continued to share that he would work harder in the future to be the best version of himself. He hopes to encourage every one to work harder together.
