Vincent Wong Feels Alive After Withstanding Pain While Filming “The Solutionist”

Taking on another action drama again, actor Vincent Wong (王浩信) has been busy filming The Solutionist <解決師> with many close quarters fighting scenes. However, the 35-year-old shared on social media his right hand’s fractured pinky bone caused during an action scene.

Although he posted two photos, one of his x-ray and another of his bandaged arm, he claims his purpose of doing so is not to make everyone worried or how much pain he is in. Instead, Vincent wanted to show how passionate he is about acting.

“I found that when I’m doing something I really like, I can ignore the pain and even lessen the pain,” the former TV King expressed. “It’s almost like back then when I sprained my ankle and would go back onto the courts to play ball the next day, and make it worse. I really feel happy because I feel alive. To celebrate, I wanted to share with you the most explicit photo I’ve taken since entering the entertainment industry, to encourage everyone to keep their fire of passion.”

Indeed, his photo not only showed his bone but how he can be very zealous when it comes to acting. Vincent previously shared that even clenching his fist hurt as a result, but he withstood the pain and only went to see a doctor after all his action scenes were completed.

“Thankfully, I finished the action scenes. As long as I don’t make big gestures in the other scenes, it will be fine,” Vincent said. “The pinky bone is [naturally] a bit weak, so it can’t be helped.”

  1. Hey Vincent…its only a fractured pinky. Calm down

    1. @mike
Right now in this new era, we have some of the most unlikable or hypocritical guys as top lead actors of TVB, Ruco and Vincent. Please bring back the genuine and honest actors such as Bobby and Roger….

  2. I can’t tell what’s wrong with the pinky…..
Can anyone enlighten me on how to tell from the X-Ray that there’s a fracture?

    1. @tungamy If you are looking from top down, there seems to be a irregularity at the 3rd joint. I see a jagged area just below that joint towards the middle.

The fracture will be at the base of the left pinky.

  3. Vincent needs to calm down and stop taking selfies like a desperate attention seeker. Former World Heavyweight Champion Boxer David Haye complained fractured his toe in training which is why he lost the world title fight and he has been getting criticism and funny remarks for years for this. That being fractured toe actually affects balance so will affect throwing punches in boxing but Vincent here, ‘How does a fractured small finger affect acting?’. Sorry, but this is not proving acting passion and I’ve heard of many inspirational stories in my lifetime but this isn’t one of them. It is displaying desperate eagerness to be in the limelight at all times. It happens so much nowadays with celebrity snaps or selfies of injuries or hospital visits and then they say ‘I don’t want my fans to be worried’.Embarassing…
