Grace Wong Rides Train to Save Money
Enjoying a stable work-life balance, TVB actress Grace Wong (王君馨) has been showing herself working hard on filming projects and in the gym with her husband, Daniel Zhang, on social media. Reaching almost two years of marriage, the sweet couple still have no children, but have recently been looking to buy a new home.
One may wonder if this desire is because of a baby on the way, but Grace had earlier explained that since her husband moved to Hong Kong, he became a shopaholic and so there are needs to increase the storeroom.
With plans to move to a bigger house, the 32-year-old actress has been working hard to earn money for a three-bedroom home. She has been keeping an eye on the real estate market, and with the prices seemingly falling soon, it should be an advantageous time to purchase.
“Working hard right now, but Hong Kong’s property prices are just too high. Went with my husband to look at some homes earlier, and it felt like I bought a lotto. It’s too thrilling. My husband and I were planning to buy a small place to invest in, but it doesn’t work out that easily. Even if you have money, you probably won’t be able to buy a home nowadays. We’ll just save money for now,” Grace said.
With property prices being so high, wanting to buy a home is a struggle even for a celebrity. So to save enough money, Grace is currently living on a budget. Spotted on using the train as her means of transport with her assistant recently, she was seen trying to talk to her assistant on how to reach their destination. As it was during rush hour and the train was crammed with people, Grace tried to talk louder. However, it was too noisy, so she resorted to communicate via messaging.

I don’t see why there’s a problem for a celeb taking public transportation. Why do ppl think that they doing that to save money?
i wish i could see a celebrity on a train but i doubt i’d recognize thinking it might just be a lookalike.

If it was a respectable superstar then yes. But Hong Kong is too busy to care about spotting about an unlikable, exaggerating, fake celebrity such as Grace Wong…

I doubt it’s because she trying to save money lol… anyone that’s been to Hong Kong will tell you that taking the MTR is the way to go especially with traffic getting worst and worst in HK. MTR is the most convenient.
It also saves time. Takes minutes to get to the other side of HK on a train where you could be stuck for hours in a tunnel in a car.

I think Grace is travelling on a train just to enjoy the attention of getting noticed tbh. A celebrity when working will need to travel so many locations and studios so there no way is it more efficient travelling in a train than a chauffeured car. Also can’t save much this way. Since Grace has married, she has tried ever harder to grab attention because she knows publicity is less once married….

Filming locations can in outskirts, trains can be delayed, studios will require walking even after getting off train. Any celebrity striving for efficiency won’t travel by train unless it is a day off with time to kill…

We all have valid reasons based our own experiences and circumstances. I would love to have high confidence children but my son is a low confidence kid but bright who learns everything from watching YouTube videos while I only come home 2 days a week due to work. Other family members who look after him can’t teach anything due to poor English and education. The low confidence can make the child refuse to greet others unless very close family members, take longer to make friends and refuse any risky activities such as climbing/swimming. I wish I could assert his confidence through speaking to him but I realise it can’t be effective overnight. I hope his confidence can gradually improve because as we know wisdom is important but good socialising skills and drive are essential for success.
And it also saves the environment 🙂
